Barbara, the Shingles vaccine is quite expensive and often hard to find. I'm on a waiting list for it, my pharmacist says it may take months to get, then she will work her way through her waiting list. Ask your nsurance if you qualify.

Sandi, I think that individual insurance situations are very different. I have wonderful insurance coverage but this is one item that they did not cover. It is costly and I was surprised, so the warning to check is a good one.

Tina, I agree. Just mentioning my experience as I think we can do here. I just hope everyone who can manage it will get the vaccine. Shingles is awful and the best thing is to not get it at all if possible. I worry about Judy and hope the medications they have now for shingles will help.
