Cool and Breezy Saturday

Morning All, A little chilly this morning but that is fine with me. Bridge repairs on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge is causing terrible traffic backups. It’s going to be a long two years. I’m at loose ends since I do not have house related fall chores. I renewed Ancestry membership so will continued with genealogy. Need to search for a link between Prince Harry and my family. :D Safe travels

Good afternoon from Las Vegas, New Mexico. A much shorter drive. All settled in by noon. I thought about unhooking the car and going for groceries, but the rv will need gas when I leave so no reason to not just relax. Tomorrow will be a tad longer but I've picked Sunday to drive through Santa Fe and Albuquerque as there won't be as much traffic. Then I'll spend two nights before a very short drive to meet with Karen and her daughter for a couple days.

Beth, you are making good time! Say hi to Karen for me!

Slept in this morning and hung out in my pj's til noon. Went to the bank to get some quarters for laundry and got that started. Did two loads. One of the security guys gave me a business card for a guy who fixes golf carts so I called him and he came over a couple hours later. He thinks the battery charger has a bad fuse so will be back tomorrow with a new one. He said everything else looks good.
Cut up a bunch of cardboard boxes for the dumpster (recycle bin). Will work on more stuff tomorrow. Church in the morning tho.

Was around 100* today and one more day of hot and then back down to 90's and then 80's later in the week. Nights will still be mid 70's so can open my windows at night yet. So nice to be able to air out the house and get that fresh air in here!

Good night! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
