Warming up Friday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Warming up Friday

Postby BarbaraRose » Fri Oct 04, 2019 12:31 pm

Good morning gals!

Gonna be a bit warmer here over the weekend. Supposed to get just above 100 again. Still have my windows open this morning tho. Was nice and cool overnight.

The neighbors across the greenbelt from me had a party last night. Sounded like a good time! Nice thing was they wrapped it up by 9pm! Gotta love seniors!!

The road I live on was washed out just down a ways by the big Valentine's Day storm last spring and they finally got around to repairing it so it is finally open now. Saves me another 5 minutes on my commute time to work

Seems there is a new buyer for my dad's house. The last one backed out because they couldn't build a big enough dock for their boat. Looks like these people are planning to renovate the house instead of tearing it down, which would be nice! I have been thinking my dad has been sabotaging plans to tear his "baby" down, from the Other Side. :o  I think he would be OK with a renovation tho! He always wanted to do that himself but never did. Will see what happens with this pending sale.

Have the next 3 days off so need to get back to work on this place. Have a whole list of things to do today so I better get up and get going! Want to get it all cleaned up, cleared out, and organized, so I can have fun on my days off. Especially with the weather getting nicer and more things going on in the park here.

Tina, sounds like you have a great spot to stay and lots of adventures ahead of you!

The PowWow gang is getting together now to for a fun week!

Lyn, I hope you are doing better and taking it easy til you get your test done!

Anita, hoping your GD is doing OK after her surgery and isn't too disappointed by the outcome.

Safe travels to Beth and all the rest of you on the road now!

Have a good day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Hi Barbie & everyone!

Barbie, I hope the sale of your Dad's house goes through.

Anita, I'm so sorry your grand daughter had this surgery but it sounds like she has done her homework. I hope this is the end of her problems.

Tina, I'm looking forward to more pictures from your trip!

Beth, safe travels to your winter destination.

Lyn, hopefully you're feeling better soon.

Pow Wow Gang, check in!

Sue, I know it's getting cooler in your corner of the world. I hope your winter isn't too severe.

Sheila, I have to go back to Morning Coffee from the day before because you post way after I go to bed!

I can't even remember if I let you know that Steve & I arrived in Ocala Saturday afternoon and I played in church the next morning. We've done lots of running around since we've been here and are settled in. It's warm here but that's why we're in FL.

I overdid it today... Drove much further than planned in high headwinds. I guarantee I'm not going to check my mileage today. But it finally got to me and I'm simply on a pullout. Probably will be noisy with train tracks on one side and the road on the other. But my hearing aids will take care of much of that. Tomorrow I intend to be in a New Mexico State Park. And because I went so far today, that'll be a short drive.

Barbie, I understand wanting renovations, but driving past some homes I've lived in that were renovated I didn't even like the outside lol.... Plus and minuses to anything, I guess.

Tina's pictures are stunning. Can't wait for more.

I am a creature of habit... when I was working came home and had family to care for so late was when I would get on the computer and internet... when we had the chat (remember those day's ) always tried to get on in time for that ... so why don't I get on earlier??? like in the day? never think of it like I said a creature of habit... and tonight is even late for me
missed half of Hawaii 5 Oh due to winter conditions (snow covered the dish)  when I realized that it had quit snowing went out and swept it off then almost tripped over a cord... ugh
spent the day with mom really did nothing but take out my row on the Swedish Weave... it's been so long since I've worked on one that it's almost like reading Greek. and this material is a pain I need to do something but am not sure what
when I got it the person in the material area didn't know how to cut the Monk's cloth when I tried to tell her how it is done I got THE LOOK and was told she know how to do it so one end isn't even fortunately she realized that I actually knew what I was talking about and did it my way on the other end... so one end is hopefully more even... :? I need to come up with a better plan then rethink what I was doing as it was wrong... and my friend that is my mentor in doing Swedish Weave might not make it down to Q ... will need to have it to a point where if she isn't going to she can get me started when I get to Utah if I've not figured it out before then... aren't we glad that there are few long distance phone charges now???
loved Tina's photo's
think Barbie you will really enjoy your new home this winter... I go by our old home and think really we have been gone for 12 years and still haven't repainted the house... nor took the face out of the tree probably can't even wonder if they know it's there?? and the pond is still there but don't think it is taken care of if possible wouldn't mind having it back..

I will just be glad to see something happen to the house. It has been sitting empty and neglected for over 2 1/2 years now.

I cancelled my membership at Curves and they were very understanding about it. Picked up a few things for the trailer (which won't work and will have to return some things). I forget how small the cabinets are in there.

Got signed up at Planet Fitness for an orientation class for next Wednesday. Since I was there, I used the hydro-massage bed again. That feels so good! I just float right out of there! :D

Off to bed!
