Thursday from Edinburghk

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Thursday from Edinburghk

Postby BirdbyBird » Thu Oct 03, 2019 4:18 am

Good morning. I do have the advantage here. I managed to make it through yesterday without a nap. Last night I kept thinking that I should be taking care of the dogs....What our routines and habits do to our radar systems. Chilly here but I expected that. The room here is quite small, as advertised, (think almost Road Trek size) but the cost was very economical, it is right on Princes Street and the view spectacular. I am off to wander through a castle or two.

Keeping all of you in my thoughts. Keep marching forward Lyn. And Anita, stay strong, the hardest role is supporting when outcomes are pretty much out of your control.

And if you could see my bank statements, you would know I am not flush with funds. And I will need to work the scoring season this coming year In earnest. But what little I have will not go with me..... As long as the dogs still have what they need.

Oh, Tina, the adventure begins. So exciting. And I'd be very happy with that room. A place to sleep and great views.

Me, I could be on the road but I'm waiting for a few more degrees of warmth to be dumping etc... I think we finally hit 32. Coldest night since spring , I believe. Love it for sleeping, but not so much for getting up.

Good Morning from Redding CA. Arrived yesterday afternoon and after getting set up and relaxing for a bit went grocery shopping and picked up Laura's Moms rental car. We are all settled in now.

Met up with Anne last night for a bit as she came yesterday for an appt she had for her trailer. Looking forward to Velda's arrival today and Sandi coming up tomorrow. Pow Wow on Saturday and it is going to be very warm. Predicting 90 on Sunday..........geez. Will be heading home on Sunday to much cooler weather. Sun is out now and some puffy clouds in the sky, very nice morning.

Tina very exciting your trip is definitely beginning and look forward to many more updates.
Lyn, still thinking positive thoughts for your Oct 8th appt. Keep us posted when you can.
Beth have a safe trip and should warm up for you soon as you head south.

Time to get some breakfast, shower, and start my day.

It's sunny and cool this morning. In a few hours I'm on the road north to see Karen, Anne, Sandi, and Laura and her Mom!

Yep... Sunny and 66 where I'm stopped. I planned this stop based on the winds I saw coming in this afternoon. So Sidney, NE has me for tonight. And it's really as far as I like to drive. Even shorter is better lol. But it was a great drive.

I sure wish this Oregon gtg was the next weekend... I might make it then. Oh well. And I'm thrilled I'll be getting together with Karen and her daughter early next week.

Just to let you know Beth. The Pow Wow GTG is in Redding in Northern California. Would have been great if you could have made it.

Hope you are going to post photos on your blog, Tina. How about photos of your tiny room and the view?? And even food, so we can enjoy with you.

I did four really big loads of laundry tonight--over three weeks worth. Tomorrow I fly off to spend some time with my kids before I head east on Thursday morning. Not sure if I will miss the Northwest or not, but the cold rain today and tonight makes it easier to want to leave!!!
