Temperature Survey-what's the temp where you are?

I can't quite believe this, but it hit 108 degrees here at my house today.

108!! September 25, **108** degrees.

I can hardly believe it - when I opened my front door and the furnace blast hit me in the face was shocking - but when I checked my front porch always-in-the-shade thermometer I was stunned.

I don't remember it EVER being this hot here, this late in the year, and I have lived in this area for more than forty years. And there are still folks in the foothills with their electric shut off, so no a/c. PG&E has listed "cooling stations" for some foothills residents - which means leave the dog at home and drive ten or fifteen miles to where-ever-it-is so you can cool off inside a building for a while - then drive the ten or fifteen miles back home.

A bad situation, all around. But with the PG&E infastructure in disrepair, I guess this is the only option to prevent the aging electric towers from sparking fires.

Tomorrow hot again - likely 100 degress+, then it is supposed to cool off into the 70's.

What is the temp at your place, everyone? Almost anywhere has got to be cooler than it is here, let me know your temp - might make me feel cooler!

You beat me with my desert weather! We were 98 today but high humidity. Cooling off from there thru next weekend.

Beautiful day here today 83°. Will be 53 overnight. Tomorrow 81 then a cool down. Just think Anne we will have "perfect" weather again this year for the Pow Wow. Supposed to be in the 70's.

I think I need to change the batteries in my outdoor/indoor thermometer looked at it yesterday and it said 57 outside and I knew it couldn't be says it now as well haven't really looked at it during the day so need to check... but the phone at this time which is almost 10:00 Mountain daylight says it is 47 don't know what it was in the day time... but while driving it was hot due to the sun shinning in so turned on the fan first doesn't seem to be pushing much air... so turned on A/C that I got fixed this summer didn't seem to be very cold so will have to have it checked pretty sure it will still be under warranty I hope..

We went from a beautiful day in the 70's yesterday to a much cooler day today... Only hit 57. It's about 50 now, going down to 40 tonight. Then back to mid-70's for a high tomorrow. We're teeter tottering. But it's been much warmer than normal for September. If forecasters are right, next week will dip into norms... I might see snow before I leave.

I'm terribly sorry, but it has been in the lower 70s and sunny for the past week and the same is expected for next week, except one day of possible rain. Expected to be in the upper 50s tonight. (I am in Northern Central Washington state.)

Anne, you need to get yourself a new home in southern Oregon, or even farther north!

Anne, here on the eastern shore of Maryland temp is 74°. It is starting to feel like fall.

Beautiful fall, go hiking with your dog, temperatures this morning in SW Ohio. Started out in the 60's and heading into the 70's with sunshine. On that note I think they are predicting temperatures to head back into the 90's on Saturday. That being not normal for late September in Ohio.

We are currently in Marianna, in the panhandle of FL and it's supposed to top off around 98 today. Because of the humidity, it feels warmer here than in it did when it was 110 in Boulder City, Nevada.

See sawing between low to mid 60’s here with lows in 50’s. Lake effect and system rains most days. Occasional 70 degree day popping in.
