Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good morning. Bit cloudy here this late September morning, but has been a beautiful late summer/early fall weather week. I miss my cool crispy fall weather though. Not to worry, it will be back. Fall color is slowly working it’s way across the U.P. and eventually will be here. Couple weeks away yet. I kind of want to head back to U.P. for a fall camping trip in one way but ready to call it quits in another. Weather is going back to a cooler pattern and that brings more rain shower type weather. Nights are cooling into 40’s up there, days getting shorter. And State gov’t here still hasn’t passed a new budget for fiscal year which starts on Oct. 1st, so a State gov’t. Shutdown is looming on the horizon. That will close the state parks, state facilities, offices etc. till it’s settled. Winterizing and covering the trailer up is looking more like it might happen. I have been going over the exterior this week, doing some preventive maintenance, new caulking around fridge vent, baggage doors etc., where leaks can happen. Roof and rest of rig are fine.

Enjoyed reading the posts on the new washers. New one is in my future eventually. Have had those front loaders, no thanks. Will stay with the agitator ones. I agree with Shelia about being retired and doing smaller loads. Don’t have to worry about water restrictions here as I have a well. My washer is right off my kitchen, so when I get up in the morning, first thing ai do is throw a load in, let it wash while I have breakfast. Kill two birds with one stone so to speak.

Not sure what I’m getting into today. In the mood for a day off ride someplace. Maybe to Camping World as need a new bumper end cap. Then go visit friends down that way. Or might venture out with a neighbors sister who hasn’t seen much of northern Michigan.

But right now it’s time to move on, get dishes done, little bookwork and then ready for which ever way the Day flows. Hope you all have a nice one wherever you are.

It sure hasn't cooled off here yet. At least it isn't raining but the rain is just to the West. The Weather Channel is showing pictures of the damage to the I-10 bridge in Bay Town, Texas. Two barges hit the bridge and damaged it. I bet that's going to take a while to fix. My sister had a doctor's appointment in Lake Charles yesterday and they told her not to come because of street flooding.

I got the curtains back up in the bathroom without breaking something. I had to put a ladder in the bath tub to reach them. I hope Tarzan leaves them alone.

Trying to decide if I want to go to Lafayette again. My son had a package come here so another excuse to go to town. I want to get my hair cut but couldn't get an appointment until Wednesday.

Beth, the picture of your food cooked in the air fryer looks a lot better than how mine comes out.

It is afternoon already, where is everyone? We are on the final legs of our trip. Now in Flagstaff, AZ for a couple of days. Today's drive from Monument Valley to Flagstaff was very trying. Horrid roads and very strong winds. The move your rig kind of winds. Bill is now taking a much deserved nap.
So we will be home the middle of the week. About two months on the road. Saw a lot of sights. Visited a lot of little towns.
October will be spent with doctor appointments, renew drivers licenses and a bunch more things that need to be done before we leave for Mexico.
If you are on the road enjoy your travels.

Carol, I am way behind on reading your blog! Need to get caught up on your adventures!

I bought a new mini air fryer yesterday at WM. It is a 1.9 qt. It still looks plenty big, so I can only imagine how big the full sized ones are! May try that out tonight. I want/need to start eating healthier now.

Had plans to get stuff done today but so far not much has been accomplished. My neighbor, Dave, came by earlier and put a new screen in my bedroom window for me. Yay! Had my one window open last night since it was so cool and breezy out. Will be nice to be able to open both windows now for a cross breeze!

Have a good day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

it's been raining all day long... been out only for Shadow I know I won't melt but don't like to be out in the rain unless
I have to... and it's cold!!! never made it to 50 not ready for the cool to cold temps I half way expected to see snow but guess it wasn't that cold just felt like it
reorganized some of my books will be ok .... until the next batch is here... then I am sure it won't I wanted to put the
"series" together but the area I have them in is 3 deep although I tried to put the more recent ones out front..
didn't even go up the to the house... when I normally do it was raining really hard had it been a mere sprinkle I would have..
so made supper (soup) and grilled cheese/tomato sandwich tasted really good just stuffed
part of me wants one of those air fryer's just afraid that I wouldn't use it that much but then maybe I would start eating better.
tomorrow have a graveside funeral to attend then a trip to Rexburg see if I can find a place that will fill the propane bottles get diesel and walmart stop
then home and help clear the clutter not sure what we will be doing though... it's always hard to declutter someone elses home.
