I managed to delete my old avatar but when I try to put a new one it tells me that the URL I'm using is invalid.

Didn't do much but go to Walmart again and load up for tomorrow. I still have a few things to load in the morning. I hope I can get done before it gets too hot.

I was sitting here reading and wondering why the pictures where all blurry when you all began talking about photo bucket...I did or do have some pictures on there but never go to it...
this was a do nothing day... look around and accomplished zilch other than I did get out of bed and did make it did my 3 rows and did a count yes I am on my last "section" yea always feels strange when I finish the last row of a color and think that is the last of this color...and makes me feel like I am much closer to finishing... in rows I am I think 15 rows till I am done... my mom asked me yesterday if I was going to get it finished... well yes I think she was thinking before I leave... should be done sometime next week if not sooner...
it's been a rainy day and cooler one that turned on the buddy and the furnace... the temp when I got up was 48 I think and inside about the same... no wonder I couldn't convince myself to get out of bed finally nature convinced me that I had to get up

Martha, the code goes in a little different for the avatar. That's the one you need to leave the opening and closing tags off.

Thanks Beth, I got the avatar to post. I'm going to have to work on the signature. I don't know how to make that picture smaller.

Beth, I will repost the info on that movie again since it is actually not on until mid October, not September like I had thought.

I work tomorrow morning and then off on Friday so will get packed and ready then. Need to wash my Jeep and clean it out, then get stuff packed, load up all the ferret stuff in the Jeep and take off early Saturday morning with Lola. Will come back Monday.

That is the same link for photos I have used to post pics on here before but didn't realize I can use it for the signature and avatar too. Will try that when I have time.

OK, I cleaned up the Avatar. Thanks for the reminder to drop the tags. But when I click on the desired photo for the signature line no code is showing up in the little line for me to copy and paste. What might I be doing wrong? For ease of at least temporarily clearing up photos I was just trying to post the same picture from computer of the rig and car in the PNW woods that I had posted on PhotoB and used before. I tried a different picture and again nothing showed. ????

Also wanted to mention the closed group on FB called Solo Woman Travelers which was recommended to me by one of our members. It is made up of international women who head off...solo. There are parallels that you will recognize from our own adventures of driving all around in our RVs by ourselves and then there is that jump to doing it by airplanes, trains, buses and hostels, BNBs and hotels...... Catherine, they will inspire you for sure!

Tina you have to go to the link provided and upload the photo to get the code. You can't host it from your computer. (I hope I'm understanding your problem correctly?)

I was, or at least attempting to, upload my photo to the posting ".net" site that I use when I occasionally post a picture to the forum these days. The directions asked me to upload the photo from a file. I did that successfully for the avatar fix from my computer's iPhoto files. When I repeated the process trying to upload a picture of the rig and Honda, the picture loaded but no code came up in the little box ?????

This is what happens when we get to FB dependent. It is good to be reminded of lost skills.....

Gotcha. It did that once to me and I closed the window, opened a new one and pulled that page up again and it worked.
