Beautiful Sunday

Good Morning All, It’s a lovely morning on the sunny Isle of Kent. The sun is shining, low humidity and NO TRAFFIC. No plans for the day but will find something to do outdoors. Wishing everyone a pleasant day. Safe travels.

Ah, only to get to 60 today here (after mid 70's yesterday and will be again tomorrow). It is sunny and Ty will love a longer walk. Otherwise no plans except my normal check ins at the store.

I'm still loving my air fryer.

A wonderfully cool morning here. I am starting my "project a day" list again. Seems like if I plan one project I get it done and often can move on to another one. I like to be done by noon. Have some lunch and then enjoy the rest of the day. Some days it is just a small project and other days it is many but I always get that ONE done for sure. I am a person who definitely needs a list and a schedule LOL
Today is trim a couple more bushes and dispose of the debris. Tomorrow is dig up the garden (unless it rains) or do something in the house if inclement weather.

Emma and I are going for a walk this afternoon as the weather is going to be great for this coming up week. I need to see what I am going to make for dinner tonight, hmmmmmmmmmm NuWave, AirFryer, Instant Pot. will have to see what I am in the mood for then will decide on the appliance LOL

I couldn't get to sleep until 3am. Had restless legs and a racing mind. I think I dreamt about gourds the rest of the night!

I was able to open up my bedroom window during the night. Was nice to get a little fresh air in there. Really need to get a screen on the other window tho, so I can open that up without getting any creepy crawlies coming in!

Slept too late to go to church. Will watch the service on-line.

Another very windy day which does help make it feel cooler out. Need to make a golf cart run to the dumpster with my trash.

Lola is getting better again. :D Her stools are finally looking more normal again. She lost some weight tho so I need to fatten her up a little.

Hope you have a fun and safe day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Cool here today. Had a big group for dinner last night at a restaurant in Hood River. I can’t hear anything in a large crowd, however, enjoy being out with all the kids. The rain arrived during dinner. A large lightening and thunder storm.
Am enjoying the quiet today. Going to vacuum and dump in preparation for leaving tomorrow. Lyn

Not much doing here today, rainy and cool.

Saw Buddy Guy last night, dudes 83 years old and still shreds on a guitar like a madman. Ain’t no cooler cool than a Chicago Blues Master. It was a very good time.

Mickie, didn’t know Buddy Guy was still playing, Love the blues.

I bought the small Chefton air fryer. Good success with fish tacos and chicken strips. The sweet potatoes fries were a disaster, cooked but limp. Don’t know what I did wrong. Help

Shirl, did you pat them dry... Really dry? And I check things and put them in longer when necessary.

I planned our long walk to be this afternoon but we went out after my earlier post and Ty and I ran into Linda and her boys and we all decided (Ty actually decided first) to head to the cemetery. The boys love their off leash time there. Ty is now napping and I'm just relaxing.

I love blues and Buddy Guy and am lucky a few of my blues playing friends from Chicago around Buddy Guys age are still alive. One goes to Chicago clubs and jams sometimes and posts... I eat those video posts up.

Mickey, Warms my heart when the old timers still have it. :D Beth, can’t remember if fries were dry but I was stingy with the oil. I try so hard to eat healthy. Don’t know why I am not radiant, svelte and beautiful. ;)

Feel much better today, with muscles and joints recovered from all the walking I did last week with my guest. I need to do a lot more walking, but build up gradually instead of doing it all at once.

I've had a great time in Napa and visiting San Francisco three times. Had a few dinners with my son and his family, but tonight is last one. Have to head north again to Eugene for another doctor's appointment and refill on pills. After that, I am heading to Prineville reservoir and then into Washington for a few weeks before back to Eugene again. Then, after a cat scan and bone marrow biopsy, I am heading east to Michigan and Ohio, and finally to Florida for the winter. Looking forward to seeing all the birds and animals there.

I don't use any oil. That's one of the reasons I wanted to try the air fryer and love it!
