looking for Ideas

three of my daughters and myself will be doing a CA trip Thanksgiving weekend with the idea of hitting Disneyland and other
sights...but as we are looking at stuff we aren't sure what we want to do it would be easy to overspend... and we don't want to do that... we have a house for the weekend and we are ok branching off and doing stuff separately. one of my dd's wants to do the zoo as do I (San Diego) the ages of the kids range from the youngest will be 6-7 months old so disneyland isn't going to be interesting to her... the oldest will be around 21 I am thinking we will have 6 teens and 2 new adults meaning 18 or older but younger than the 21 or 22 what ever they are there are 4 of that age... these are the grandkids and greats... 6 others parents plus me
so looking for ideas of things to do even some very inexpensive things in or around the LA area of course we plan a beach fix
thanks for all the help you will come up with

Ouch. Disneyland Thanksgiving weekend will likely be mobbed with crowds (which means that lines will be LONG, thus the number of "attractions" you will be able to visit will be very limited (if you have to wait an hour - or more - in line to get into each one). Waiting in line is not my thing, especially waiting in line for an hour or more for a five-minute "ride".

Disneyland is also (at least to my way of thinking) exorbitantly expensive, unless you have "deep pockets" ($149.00 for a one day ticket - per person, age 10 and over, $141, per person, ages 3 - 9).

Ok, so I'm not a big fan of L.A. The beach in late November might be cold (but who can tell with this weather?). I grew up in the L.A. area, but haven't been down to L.A. in many years - truth be told, I try to avoid visiting, or even passing through L.A., pretty much at all costs!!

Good luck!!
