I'm Home !

I'm home ! I thought they'd never let me out !!! This morning I had no "temp" so I was released..and I have to tell you.. I not only hurried.. I didn't collect my reward .. LOL well, I was due another "Shot" but I got away.. or should I say, "I escaped"...

Rather than go into all the details..just think "Murphy's Law" ..and from there it's history.. What can go wrong will for me..and it never ceases to amaze me..I always constantly hear.. "I've never seen anything like this before" that shall be my Epitaph (sp).

Anyway, I'm home... I want to thank "All" who sent well wishes as they are so appreciated.. I didn't have computer at the hospital and hubby is not into computers other than work, and they all told me to look at my stay as a Hiatus !!! (They had to be joking).

I had a neat roommate..and a Nurse that was straight out of the Cuckoo's Nest.. in fact we called her "Nurse Ratchet"...LOL You now understand why I did the picture

Ok, I need to rest up.. as I have to have this procedure done again in a month on my other leg.. (yeah only one leg done)and I perish the thought !

I see by the looks of all the pictures that the Sista's Liz, Carolinagal and Beth are heading to Alaska and enjoying the Ride ..
and also Echo posted Wooooooooo hooooooooo and even "Sparkle Plenty" .. gosh so good to hear from you Gals..

Nasoosie..(Soos) your camping spot looks heavenly and boy I sure wish I was there ..and a Pork Roast.. Oh ! what a great thought...

Before I forget.. yeah I even collected a recipe LOL My roommate was having a birthday and family brought up a cake.. and it's a low cal too.. she called it "Celebration Cake".. and I immediately thought of all YOU !!!

Now I'm gonna lean back and catch up on all the "news" and then fall out in my recliner..'tis a little sore right now..

I am very glad that you are at home and next time you have to go have the other one...maybe Murphy could go on a long vacation. I am praying for you. Get the rest and I hope you feel better.

Ava, I posted the Celebration cake.. I wished it was my knees done.. but I had stents put in my arteries..next year is the big year for Knee Replacement.. Lord willin'

Soos, In answer to your question.. Yes, my plumbing on the right leg has been fixed.. Right after they opened her.. I felt the warmth.. in fact Dr asked me " Hey Zeee, you feel that ?" Sure did !!! in more ways than one LOL
Now as for why they didn't do both legs.. I think because I had some major problems..but also maybe because they go in the Femoral Artery.. on the Right side for the Right leg.. Now I might be wrong.. but I don't know anyone who's had both done at the same time.. I think they wait to see if the "Stent" holds open.. as there is a possibility of them closing down.. Had that happen with my LAD in my Heart.. soooooooooo... and besides.. the compression they use afterwards..ooooooh I don't think I'd want that around both legs.. OUCH !! But I did suggest to Dr... How's about PVC piping.. that chit lasts forever ??????? Had a few chuckles in the OR...guess they thought I was joking.. NOT.. it works great in the house for plumbing.. LOL.. now that was funny ....LOL and don't wear out and if it clogs just use Liquid Plumber and flush away.. LOL
I'm doing ok.. just a tad bit sore.. and of course have this wicked wicked bruise.. I mean to tell you.. it's a lot of color..omg and I have this huge lump.. which will go down ..slowly.. can't drive for a few days I think he said two weeks.. had some problems as I said.. but then I go back and in another month Lord willin' and the Creek don't rise.. I go in again and have a repeat on the Left side... mmmm wonder who my roommate will be and if they cook or bake LOL..

Ok, that's about it for now.. I'm starving and I hear noise in the background.. Looks like I have some company.. and they are bringing in food..alrighty.. it smells devine.. and I hear this foreign language.. LOL
