Last,week of july

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Last,week of july

Postby Robin » Mon Jul 29, 2019 7:54 am

Drinking my second cup of coffee, reading this forum, checking my lists, preparing for the departure!
I'll take one short three day trip the first,of August through the third and do some kayaking on the San Marcos river.
Then on August 15 i will start my journey and become a full time camper until January 2020!
Where can I find you all on the road?

Good morning Robin. Nice to see you opening the morning coffee. If you make it to Arizona or New Mexico areas let me know.

Woke up awhile ago from the lawn maintenance guys with their weed whackers, and will soon be followed by the lawn mowers.

Need to get going to Curves soon. I missed last Friday because of the dryer and propane issues before having to head to work. I work this afternoon too.

Have a good day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Hi Robin, I am in San Diego...right downtown! I store my little TT about 7 miles away. Let me know if you need info. And, if you are near, we can always meet for lunch. However, I am leaving town the end of August. I will be meeting Velda near Sacramento. Keep reading and using this forum...you will meet some of us eventually!!!! Lyn

Hi everyone! We arrived in Florence Oregon today. We will be staying for two nights (I love not having to travel everyday) and will leave here to go to Crescent City CA for about a week. Lyn, that is nowhere close to you, darn it! Today was a good day and I'm getting my emotions under control. We're eating in, which I love to do. I wish the rest of you a wonderful day.

spent the day at my mom's did laundry and watered the plants... crochets vegged out on Hallmark mystery channel
made brownies... was going to take her out to lunch but she gets meals on wheels on Mon Wed and Fri told her we would go after her meal came and she could eat it for supper or lunch tomorrow... but when she remembered that it was going to be a hamburger she said she would rather eat it than go out as she really didn't enjoy reheating a hamburger...turned out to be a really big patty. so she shared it with me... as well as the salad.
mom told me that we could go out for dessert but when the afternoon came she said that she just was a morning shopper just didn't have it in her to go out in the afternoon... I would like to take her somewhere fun but her comfort zone is her recliner and the tv... she is just tired I guess.
it's been raining off and on cool out side temp is just under 70 will sleep in tomorrow it's a given

Good Morning Ladies!
Thankyou for the warm welcome! I’m trying to figure out how to post a picture! LOL
I bought new tires, and oil change , and checked over my Tundra.. getting ready for departure!I plan to be in Colorado by Labor Day. I will go to Center Colorado for my first destination to visit an old friend. After a short visit I will explore Colorado , then head to Ruidoso , New Mexico. I have a cousin I will visit there and spend a couple weeks there! I want to explore New Mexico, then be in Tucson by Oct 31. My plan is to go on to Rocky Point ( Mexico) or San Felipe ( Mexico).
I’m thinking of joining the Solo Traveler Group. The only thing is : I don’t want to travel “solo” forever!

Karen, after three one night stops, we will be stopping at the northern and southern rim of the Grand Canyon for a week each. A week or so after that, our friends will be leaving us to head to FL. Steve & I plan on taking the next 3 or 4 weeks to slowly make our way east.
