Last July Saturday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Last July Saturday

Mornin' ladies~~~
August is just a few days away. Where did July go? For me it was still a long month sitting in Camp Dad's Driveway. His cataract surgery is scheduled for Wednesday and I'll finally be hitting the road again the following Monday. Yippee!

Not a whole lot new here. Today's plan is to look at maps to see how and when to start heading southeast. Other than that, I got nothing. Have a great day lady

Good morning Cheryl and all that follow!

We had a ball last night, I’ve been really sad about the lost job/bum leg scenario so we had a “to heck with it” evening. I made us plates of nibbles (cheese, pepperoni slices, nuts) and Mary iced some beers, we watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding and just had a great night. Today we’re meeting friends at the pool to play around then going out for lunch.

Good morning. Looks like another very hot day here in N. Central CA so will probably just stay inside
with the AC running or maybe go check out new cars.

Good morning. I was so hoping we could sneak thru July with no fires but alas was not to be. Opened my windows this morning as the smoke was pretty light. As the day is warming up I have had to close up everything again as the smoke is thickening rapidly. Will finish shampooing the carpets and get my house back in order. Need to do some window washing so will maybe do that today, maybe not LOL

Getting excited about my coast trip in a couple of weeks. Looking forward to some great seafood. Got the Fantastic Fan fixed......finally on the third try. And it is working well now so I am happy.

It's a beautiful Saturday in WI. Next week is supposed to be ideal, high 70's and sunny. I will be leaving for my trip on next Friday, into Canada for 3 weeks then to Olympic National Park for 2 weeks, then down to Mt. St. Helens, Oregon Coast, Redwoods, Crater Lake and more. Anyone else going to be in the area?
Hope everyone has a wonderful day and safe travels.

The weather station is playing "Margaritaville" and makes me want to take a trip. I have a Jimmy Buffett CD in the motorhome that I play sometimes. My traveling music. lol With all the beach warnings not sure that I would go to the beach now. I called for a site for our Christmas Campout. Glad I called now because I got a site close to the clubhouse since my sister has trouble walking very far.

It has been thundering all morning and finally decided to rain. At least the rain has cooled it off some. Glad I got all the mowing done yesterday since it's suppose to rain all week. Some dark clouds were going by but I never saw any lightening so I kept mowing.

The restaurant I went to last night was nice. There were 9 from the meetup group at our table and another table with about 20 people so it was very noisy. I think I have been there before years ago with my boss at the fish plant. When we would have a meeting in Lafayette she and I would eat lunch somewhere. She had the expense account. The General Manager would let us get away with a lot. Being a seasonal business we were very busy for 6 months. There were 5 women in the office and at the end of the season we would get a long weekend trip somewhere. The General Manager passed away and the company got bought out so it wasn't nearly as much fun to work there.

Don't know what I'll do today. Probably not much since it's noon and I'm not dressed yet.

It's 12:22 here and 99 degrees. Since high will be at lease 6 hgher, I'm staying in and working on decluttering and shredding old papers. Not much excitement here. Son and I got hooked on the old Veronica Mars series, which we had not watched when it was on tv. With all our favorites on summer break, Hulu and Netflix are our go to.
Mickie I'm glad you made a fun evening out of your whole job thing. It helps to laugh and get away for even an evening.
Judy, hope the eye is doing well, soon this will be behind you. I can't imagine what a challenge putting your own eye drops in, but guess I'll be learning one day.
Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Warm here at my place over the hills and east of San Francisco Bay. It’s a little after 2:00 pm and 101 degrees on my deck in the shade. I’m heading to the Sierras on Monday to spend 3 nights at Calaveras Big Trees State Park. Washed the RV yesterday from top to bottom in the morning when it was cooler so the pups and I are ready to go.

I put my eyedrops into my lower lids, looking in the mirror with my head tilted back just a little, but it works. In fact, I cannot stand to have anyone else drop them in. Things are going well, but i am disappointed in my closeup vision. I cannot even look at my cell phone without reading glasses. It will be easier once I get reading glasses that fit and are the right prescription. Heading to the optometrist on Monday morning before i head north.

I had to reschedule my lithotripsy to August 12 to give me time to get someone to pick me up after the procedure. It is a real problem when you do not know people in town. Other problem is finding a place to stay on a weekend during the summer when you have to reschedule for medical things.

RV repair guy is coming today to take my satellite dish apart to see what is making the horrible banging noise. I might end up having to buy a new one, but at least someone needs to tell me what is wrong. It does work OK, just makes horrible noises as I drive.

Was a busy day at work. Got lots of compliments (in front of my manager :) ) on my haircuts from my customers which is always nice to hear. Made almost $70 in tips in just 5 hours. So a very good day!

It is 117* today! Too hot to be outside.

So sad about the fires starting again. :(
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Sheila are you talking about an SD card?? The sim card is what operates and stores stuff internally on the phone. The SD card you transfer stuff to and it frees up your phone availabilty. Just google how to do that, Youtube has lots of videos that is how I learned. I dont know what kind of phone you have but I usually put that in my google search also.
