7 Weeks and hair cuts

Postby BirdbyBird » Tue May 19, 2009 9:03 pm

We had our first hair cuts. The lines aren't exactly straight but then we don't know how to sit still yet on the grooming table. But the planes of our faces show up a little more and we got necks! We are suppose to go visit Blondie's other mother this weekend and the rumor is some of us may stay in northern Ohio and find a forever home. Mostly we are just excited because we found out about grass and playing with leaves and sticks!

Does it help to know that they do squirm and squeak a lot!

OMG - they are beyond cute. And the difference - it's like when you make a tiny little boy put on a suit. He looks so grown up and clean...

Oh yes...it's just like taking a little boy to the barber for his first hair cut...they just aren't the baby you put in the chair when they are finished! They're still darling...but just look so much older.
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Awwww....where did the puppies go? Now they are all grown up. (I guess that's why I really dislike seeing a cute little boy all dressed up in a fancy schmancy suit----I prefer REAL cute little boys, not little boys their moms make masquerade as men! I've actually seen newborn suits and ball gowns in the stores lately-----ACK!)

They are still very handsome and beautiful dogs.....but not cute puppies any more. I do realize that you have to have their hair cut, as do poodle owners, but I miss that puppy look! Sigh---like the first time I saw my daughter dressed up for a prom----my heart ached to have that 'little' girl look back!

But they are very beautiful, and your photos are super! I hope they all find great homes!

Happy travels!

Noticed from campfire post that one of the babies is gone. Which one? Do others show signs of missing him?
