So much noise

The clean up goes on and on, this was such a quiet neighborhood, only about 50 houses on a horseshoe shaped street. But almost all of the houses were built late 50's early 60's and all had MANY very large mature trees we had almost 100 on our two lots. Semi trucks with double trailers have been working since Saturday hauling out the trees and branches which have been places curbside and hey aren't even half way through the neighborhood. So the sound of chainsaws and big trucks is constant from daylight to dark.
I called our insurance company yesterday, as there has been no sign of anyone at our neighbor whose stand of pine trees are now in our backyard. I've heard conflicting stories as to who is responsible for them at this point so thought I should call to see for sure! Supposed to hear back sometime today.
Still no cable but I set up a small antenna so we are getting 3 channels and I was able to watch the season finale of Desperate Housewives!

I'm so sorry that you lost so many trees. It has to be depressing and will change the landscape forever. Sad.

Mitch I thought the same thing the minute she got to the Dr's office!
Sparkle no, Lynette doesn't have cancer BUT she is pregnant again with twins!! The groom is Mike and I think the bride is the woman he left at the airport to race off to save Susan and MJ. Oh and Bree, she has been swept off her feet by her lawyer (who remember was Susan's first husband). It's hard to keep up with the cast of characters!

I think the writers led us to believe the bride was Catherine. But Mike and Susan belong together.

You forgot to add "scumbag" before the word "lawyer"...but he is good looking, isn't he? :

So how did Lynette react when she found out she was expecting twins? That's all that poor woman needs is more kids. And what about, shoot I can't remember her name, the sexy one that used to be a model. Was married to Carlos, hmm, HIS name I remember!

Sparkle, Lynette was in shock with a could life get any worse look. Her DH of course just had his regular hang-dog stupid look, he is my least fav on the show. Carlos (yum) and Gabrielle have taken in his teenage bombshell relative who is causing big trouble between them. Carlos believes her innocent stories and thinks Gabby is treating her unfair.

And Mich I think Susan and Mike belong together too but that would make it less dramatic probably. Maybe there will be a new girlfriend and both will be left behind!

An interesting note on Desparate Housewives. My doctor's daughter is one of the writers. He is so proud of her and her accomplishments. He has posters all over the office. He knows all the characters by name. He has been up there several times during the shooting. So maybe I should grill him about what is happening. Think I can get him to spell the beans? Probably not.
