It's Friday!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

It's Friday!

Postby Bethers » Fri May 24, 2019 7:20 am

We're supposed to have a high of 60 today so most of the snow should disappear. For those who wondered if we lost product, so far no. Very lucky.

Our food service opens today so I really should be there for any glitches. Yesterday was a day of errors and problems. Hopefully they are behind me today.

Off to walk Ty then get to the store. Happy Friday everyone.

Beautiful sunshiny day today.....love it after the couple weeks of off and on rain, with a big storm in the middle. I have errands to run today. Laura is coming tomorrow and I am excited to see her again. We have several things planned in between our resting up ha ha House is basically clean and read for company (things put away off of guest bed LOL) She doesnt come to see my house anyway she comes to see ME. My kind of company.

Since I bought a BBQ now I need to go buy a propane tank...........yup Home Depot here I come LOL

Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend and be safe out there.

Good morning gals! :D Sun is shining. Supposed to be nice sunny weather for the next couple days and then back to rain. Good timing for the trip to the desert tomorrow.

Congrats Mickey on the weight loss! I am sure you feel much better!

Beth, glad you are warming up finally and didn't lose anything in the store.

Sheila, my roommate is still here but moves out on June 1st. She found a room to rent in the park here just down the street.

I got a lot done yesterday. Got most of my clothes packed up except for what I will need for the next week or two. The beta fish is in his new little travel tank. Got my wifi ordered for the new house. Got an estimate on the plumbing issues $$$. Hopefully, I won't have to pay for that. :o The termite guy was here to spray under the porch area. I will be paying for that.

Today just finish up some things in the sunroom and pack up my bathroom stuff. Ran out of boxes and bubble wrap so need to make a run to WM for that this morning and get the Jeep gassed up. Will be picking up the UHaul trailer at 3 this afternoon and get it loaded with the help of my handyman. Then we are off to the desert early tomorrow morning. Will be nice to get the majority of stuff out of here and be able to get the remaining stuff sorted and boxed up and clean the place good. Will take one day to clean up the yard too. Weeds are growing like, well, weeds!

Have a good day!

> just got a notice that my wifi box is being delivered already to the new house today, even tho I told them I won't be moving in until the 4th of June! I will have to stop there tomorrow to pick it up.

I needed to go to the bank so managed to go to town already. They usually close at 2:00 on Friday before a holiday weekend. Went to grocery to get my Friday fish and some ribs to cook on Sunday or Monday. The local grocery store put in a counter to sell Sushi and has 2 people making Sushi during the day. I'm not that crazy about Sushi but bought a small container to try it. Not as good as a restaurant. I can't see that lasting very long. Not sure how much Sushi Cajuns eat. lol There was something I wanted yesterday at the store. I didn't write it down because I was going to remember it. Yea, right. It must not have been very important because I haven't remembered it yet.

I need to spray some places where I can't mow but the wind hasn't calmed down yet.

I am still at Armitage Park in Eugene for a couple more days--just long enough to get laundry done, clean up the inside of my motorhome, wash the outside which is allowed here, pick up a few groceries, and get a few other chores done. One of the reasons I like this park is the laundry room with three washers and three dryers. Also sites are fairly spread out so it is quiet here, although a couple of big family groups have already arrived for the weekend.

My kitchen faucet barely works these days, so I bought a new one and have an RV technician coming late afternoon to install it and take the cover off my satellite dish to look for the source of the clunking sound I have had for the past year. Have eliminated all the other possible causes, so am hoping there is something under it that can be tightened.

I'll be heading out on Monday morning and driving 296 miles to Pacifici Beach, Washington. A few days there and then on to Fort Flager, way up on the Olympic Peninsula, for a whole week. I've never been there so am looking forward to it.

Congratulations on your weight loss, Queen!!

Congrats, Mickie!

Barbie, I hope you can find a handyman in Indio like you currently have. He's gone above and beyond for you.

It's the little things in life that can bring the greatest joy. Just now I turned off my alarm for the next two mornings. :)

I hope I can too! Yep, Bryan has been so helpful since I moved in here. Very nice, dependable and affordable. My agent in Indio gave me the name and number of a guy in the park she recommends there. Hope he is just as reliable. I need to have a few small things done around there once I get moved in.

I love being able to turn off my alarm for a day or two! Not tomorrow tho. Will be up by 7am to hit the road by 8am. Hoping to be back here by 3 or 4pm.
