Sunny Thursday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunny Thursday

Good morning all. Yes, it’s sunny right now but still soggy outside. I was hoping to be able to get out and mow today but not looking good right now! I’ve already been out and about this morning. And anyone who knows me knows that isn’t normal for me! So not a morning person! But the garage said to bring Lola in for inspection at 9. And surprise, they said they could do it right then and I could wait. Usually someone gives me a ride home and then pick me up in the afternoon to get her. So that was a pleasant surprise. So I’m good for another year. Now she just needs a good bath. Temps will be in the 80’s this week end but not sure about the rain. It’ll be iffy! I really want to load her and go somewhere but need to finish more yard work before I go anywhere. I’m determined to get that done before I take any trips.
Sue, you make me tired too! You’re a ball of energy! Sandi, thank you for sharing your adventure with us. Barbie, you’ll be moving before to long. Exciting for you. So much going on with trips and planning. The season has begun! I’m definitely seeing more RVs and TTS on the road now. Ok, enough from here! Hope you all have a good day and travel safe if you’re on the road.

Good morning Sharon! We hit 80 yesterday... High predicted of 65 today... Then back with 40's for highs until next Thursday with a chance of snow ( minor) a couple times. Oh, and we saw and heard hail the past two days. Weather is totally crazy.

I should be at the store but am playing a bit of hooky this morning. Linda's working and hasn't called so I know all is good.

Sandi, I said so on your post but will repeat here how much I enjoyed your narrative and pics of your latest adventure. Thanks so much for sharing.

Been raining all night here and supposed to rain off and on into next week.

I did laundry yesterday and came up with $70 in cash found in the dryer! That was a very pleasant surprise! Must have been tip money from several days left in pants pockets.

One of the things I discovered the other day at the new house is the kitchen faucet is one of those fancy ones that turns into a sprayer too! Love that! I was planning to put one of those in but now I don't have to. :D

Bringing Lola back to the vet this morning for a check-up. Her diarrhea has cleared up luckily. The downside is that now she is spoiled with the expensive special canned food and won't touch the dry stuff anymore.

Two days left at work and then off for the next 2 1/2 weeks until I close and move. Lots of work ahead of me here and in Indio.

Have a good day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Just got released from emergency room at Riverside Hospital in Eugene! Been having more kidney stone problems--pain on Monday and bloody urine ever since. I was in a state park south of Portland, but did not want to go to an emergency room there since they would not know me, while at this hospital, I have a history. It was packed, but I think they fast-tracked me, so it was only a 4.5 hour visit.

Anyway, good new is that my platelets are not as low as I was afraid they might be. Bad news is that kidney stone has not passed and is in lower ureter, although lower ureter is much better than upper ureter. Other bad news is that it is 6 mm, which is borderline for passing. So, I will contact urologist tomorrow, but suspect it will be mostly waiting to see if it will pass.

Other good news is that this hospital has RV parking with electric hookups--maybe 8 spots!! Will post photos tomorrow. It is in employee parking lot, so you have to double-park at entrance and go in to get security to write you a pass, then drive around to right parking lot and find a spot. Tomorrow I have a reservation at Armitage for a few days.

wow if I had hopes of finding money in my pants I would go do my laundry... good find Barbie
spent the day at my mom's never have seen her fridge that empty ... not sure if it's lack of going to store or if she just isn't eating much... my sil has been there this week as her dil had to go to training so she was here to take kid's to where they need to go... was looking forward to a good visit but one of the girls had pink eye so she was over at their house... so had a day of Hallmark either mysteries or the regular one so got to watch Matlock and Monk and a couple of movies... besides doing indexing and a bit of family research... then dd picked me up and we stopped at her son's house so we could see the baby guess she was hungry as she put herself in position to nurse..learns quickly
I wanted to go to a book club even though I'd not read the book and right now can't remember the name of the book... it was fiction based on life story of a great grandmother I believe Words is in the title if may come bit by bit. followed the map on phone to get there did ok getting home was a different story... not sure how I did it but when I went I went south east then north then probably w... coming home somehow I ended up NW of Tetonia I actually think I was in Felt but wouldn't swear to as I didn't see the town sign clearly.. but made it home.... thankfully had it not been raining and dark might not have been so bad.. Name of book might be "Them are My Words" or a close to it
it's late have a good night
