Happy Mother’s Day

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Happy Mother’s Day

To all the Mom’s. I am freezing! Spent all day yesterday in side, and, had the buddy heater on and off all day! Rain in the afternoon. This morning, sprinkles, so far. I am moving on. Heading west and north. All the spring trees that are blooming are exceptionally beautiful!

Good morning Lyn! Where are you at? What route are you taking to Ely?

Off to work shortly here...

Happy Mother's Day!

No rain predicted for today so intend to get my current mattress out of here and replaced with the new that's still in it's box in the store. And if I'm smart I'll get laundry done.

I'm wishing everyone a wonderful day.

Chilly and drizzling here in SW Ohio. I am trying to squeeze a week of errands into one day. Other than getting to sleep in and extra hour I have been running all day. I figure the dogs are just as deserted as if I had gone to work but without their Connie to come play with them. They will survive but I need some supervison regarding my shopping. You know those finds you see just sitting there in the clearance rack of the new TJ Max store. The biggest investment of time today was shopping for new bras. I had bought two inexpensive a couple of months ago but after losing even more weight it was time to do the serious shopping. I may shop thrift stores but I have learned not to be cheap with shoes and bras. Now I am set. Yes losing 35-40 pounds sure makes a dramatic difference in the “sisters”.

The judging assignment went well yesterday and apparently I picked no three legged dogs. I am glad because I didn’t want to embarrass my Gordon Setter friend that had recommended me.

Back to work tomorrow. At least when I am working I am not spending money on housing improvements.

I got a wild hair yesterday and decided to go to Lafayette. After I get over there I get a flash flood warning on my phone. It was storming and I got soaked at Sam's. I only wanted to go to Sam's to renew my card so I can get gas but of course spent $100. There's not much I can get at Sam's except cat food or I am eating it for a month. I wanted to go eat but I was so wet I just picked up a dinner at Piccadilly. I have been wanting their strawberry pie and they had one piece left. It was raining too hard when I passed TJ Maxx so couldn't stop there. They haven't been having much in my size that I want. I looked at Dillard's for some Ralph Lauren black jeans. I am not paying $90 for a pair of jeans and the ones on sale had stuff sewn on them.

I don't imagine I will get much done today. It's too wet to mow, my favorite hobby. lol

Another beautiful day here today. I fiddled with a few things outside but then came in and decided this was the day to clean out my walk in closet. You know the place you put everything you dont know what to do with LOL

So packed up lots of heavy winter clothes. I didnt pack them all tho as if I go to the coast it is often very chilly. Sorted some for the Donation center, a few for trash, kept a few, packed the rest. Now I just need to take them over to my storage unit and bring back the rest of my summer clothes. I better do that pretty soon before it gets too warm out.

Will have some lunch first tho otherwise I will be eyeing all the food places to stop on my way home.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers. I haven’t been on here in ages, but I am still in touch with many on Facebook. Happy at home, but not traveling much and not far from home. I would love to see any of you traveling to and from Florida for a visit. ACV in Dowling Park has a nice RV Park with FHU and Cable TV, $25 a night. Kayaking is good on the Suwannee River.

Happy Mothers Day to all of you! It's warm in Wilson NC and a dear friend of ours is being our advocate with the plight we're still trying to figure out. I filled out many pages online this morning with the Federal Trade Communications. All our loose paper notes from the last two weeks have been consolidated and I have things in black & white in a binder for Steve and also rewritten in a file for me and our advocate. Everyday the fog seems to clear some but not gone. But as Beth mentioned in years past, this could have been so much worse.

I am pining away for a nice slice of chocolate cream pie. They have the frozen ones at the grocery store, but I dare not buy a whole pie.

I get my jeans at Walmart for about $17.95. I buy men's jeans because the fabric is heavier, they are better made, without all the fancy geegaws sewn on them (like with women's jeans), and they last a lot longer. You just need to figure out your your size in men's pants. Easiest way is to just go in and try a selection of sizes on until you find a pair that fits, then (this is always the hard part) try to remember what the size is the next time you need to go buy jeans  .

When I find jeans I like, I keep the tag with the brand name and size on it for future reference.

Very tired today. Still need to clean out my car, put some bins and things in there, pack for my trip and eat dinner tonight. My agent came by shortly after I got home from work and that took two hours to sign a few papers. She is very sweet but can talk your ear off!! With the frustrations of this house and all the repairs needed so far, I think I really need to take a break and see the new house to get my motivation and enthusiasm back. :D

Better get going with my list of things to do...
