Green and Sunny Wednesday Morning

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Green and Sunny Wednesday Morning

Morning on the sunny morning at the 45th.but it’s cold. Nice green grass out there, trees are budding, but not quite leafing out time just yet.

As Lyn told you, we were in Frankenmuth yesterday, visiting with Louise and eating our fill. Isn’t that what we do best at GTG’s. Was a fun day. I have really been enjoying having that wonderful lady visiting with me these past few days. Will get pictures posted.

Today is going to be at home base. Plan to install new battery box on Lyn’s trailer, run errand to town and whatever else pops up. Rain moving in later this evening again. Hope you all have a great day too.

Morning all!

My knee replacement implant has been crunching and cracking the last month, saw the doc yesterday and all is well!! She thinks it’s the huge of amounts of scar tissue from the previous five surgeries causing the sounds. Big YAY on this, I truly did not want to face another knee surgery. :D

Hope everyone is well.

Good morning Sue and Mickey,

Sue, so glad you and Lyn are having a great time! She is such a ray of sunshine!

Mickey, glad your knee is OK. I had knee surgery once and I hope to never have to go thru that again!

May gray again this morning. Nothing big planned today. I work later this afternoon but nothing going on here before then. After yesterday's chaos around here, I will just enjoy the peace and quiet for awhile! :D

One of my butterflies emerged this morning! The other one should follow soon! So cool to see!

It's a girl!

Made my reservation this morning for the storage unit in Indio. Will haul a load of non-essential boxes and bins down with me on Monday and put them in there. Less to haul later, and as long as I am going down there for the inspection anyways, may as well take a load with me. Will free up my shed for more boxes as I get them packed up. I didn't sell my recliner but am thinking I will just take it with me. I can put it out in the porch there.

I got my new phone yesterday. Got it charged up and need to get it activated today. Looks like it will be a lot more user friendly than the one I have now. This one started making strange sounds randomly for no apparent reason. Very annoying! Also not very user friendly. So was time for a new one! I buy them from Total Wireless and they aren't very expensive. I am also on their prepaid plan which is very affordable and works well for me ($38 per month unlimited data).

Just got a call that my vacuum cleaner is fixed so will pick that up tomorrow. Hopefully my clock will be fixed by tomorrow since the shops are close together. I bought a big whimsical moose head clock many years ago in Spooner, WI. The clock is on his snout and his tongue goes back and forth! So adorable. The clock never did keep good time but the tongue still moved so that was good enough for me. That quit working tho awhile back so needed to get that whole thing replaced. It is definitely a conversation piece and will look good in my new living room!

Have a good day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Good Morning. Been outside early getting the last of the flowers planted NO MORE FLOWERS. I dont know what I was thinkin'. Now I just have to add a water line to the bushes AND the flowers and I will call it done.

Mexican train today at my house, good way to pass a couple of hours. Irmi is trying to get straightened out and Barbie is trying to move out LOL Hope all goes well for both of them.

This is a good month for me for plans. Going camping first week in June and Laura is coming to stay for Memorial day weekend YIPPEE Going to lunch with my neighbor tomorrow then I need to get busy INSIDE the house with the usual housekeeping chores I have let lapse.

Nice day today, just supposed to be in the 80's but they say it will be windy tomorrow and Friday. I hope not as we already have a couple of fires still going on, we sure dont need any new ones.

Had to be at at Holley Generator at 08 this morning ! Not a fun drive as that's rush hour, but I made it. Settled into waiting room expecting most of day and $1000 bill! At almost 9:30 the mechanic comes in amd hands me keys and said its running, all done! Apparently a insect crawled inside the case where you can't see without taking cover off, and made him/herself at home. Generator will not run with that vent clogged. He cleaned it and was immediately able to start it, run under load and he checked everything else as to oil and so on and all is good at only 48 hours on generator! He installed a foam sock over tube so bugs can't make their happy home! We had long ago put screen over every opening we could but if course did not take cover off generator looking inside. Bill:$300 instead of $1000 and many hours. I ran generator going home because the boss there said these Microlites are meant to run. Run it and AC any time you need to going down the road. I had forgotten how quiet it is. Have to really listen inside for the hum and the quiet tick as the tenth of hour run clock ticks by. I'm a happy camper, one biggie checked off.
I had just gotten home when AMSolar called back. Though they are busy, as a repeat customer they are working me in on June 17 to do a complete system check, check Mels inverter install, check the solenoid and disconnect, and evaluate if they can install a second panel or replace this with higher capacity. This one is a 2009 and only 130 W. learned through the years that it's better to closer match watts incoming to Amp hours of batteries for efficiency of charge. I have two 100 Amp batteries, so 130 w is a bit slow. Then on Tuesday after install I head north to a friends then Friday out to the rally.
Still have few small things such as cotter pin in sofa and recaulk the shower then it's finish cleaning and start stocking.
Can you tell I'm excited! I even was done Curves by noon!

Gardening supervisor reminded me of years ago when I had a 6-month old puppy. Put down new black topsoil, planted flowers, and then used bone meal as a fertilizer. Big mistake. Every time we put dog out, she would dig in and lick up the bone meal and come in covered with dirt!!

Slept in really, really late this morning. I got into the habit of staying up well past midnight when late at night was the only way I could get decent Verizon service for my internet, so I need to switch my inner clock back to something more reasonable. Anyway, got up and sorted through the cabinet over my bed where I store towels. It would be a lot easier to access this cabinet if I were taller, and I was afraid to stand on my bed, so I managed with a stool on the floor and a grabber. Emptied it out and put back stuff I wanted to keep, using the grabber as well. Looks great and added towels, washcloths, and hand towels to my donate pile.

Tomorrow I will drive to the beach and go for a walk, then on Friday I am planning on driving to Coos Bay and the state park with a botanical garden. I will dump my donate stuff there--three huge bags full!! Wish I could ride my bike to the beach, but my platelets are very low again, and I can't chance a fall. I might get bike off the rack this weekend and clean it up. Need to sand rust off spokes, also.

on my to do list today was dishes.... got them done then I wanted to clean the bird feeders and put them up... did the hummers feeders when I took them down I just stored them so knew that they needed cleaning and as I had put the seed feeders away thought I ought to clean them not an easy task... as I was soaking and scrubbing and scrubbing on soaking a thistle feeder thought sure looks like this should come apart... it did a gentle twist was all it took. and cleaned up a lot easier... another feeder I know somewhere I stored the tag off if cause it said it was easy to clean got the lid off but don't know where to go to from there and don't know where I put for safe keeping the tag ... oh well I got the old seed out that may be all I can do till I run across that tag...somewhere...
was going to put my mugs away (they are on a improvised second shelve so they go into a bin while traveling) saw one of my favorite glasses was broke... I like the weight of them just the over all size of it compared to the other glasses so need to clean out the shelve so didn't put stuff away... want to get the table cleaned off a bit better so I can get up closer ... some shelves even with a step stool is a trick. I need to bring my grabber inside instead of leaving it out in the truck...
tomorrow going to Rexburg with my SIL haven't spent much time together for quite awhile..
should write out a wally world list haha
