Great job. My only worrisome area is that on is down. Be very careful that nothing can "fall" onto a handle. Someone I worked with had that happen and flooded their rig. They took it apart and made down off after the mess was cleaned up.

Good job most persistent woman! And I also caught up with some of your recent blog posts. I can see why you go out of your way to spend time in the Valley of Fire State Park.

Valley of Fire recharges my internal batteries with its beauty. Also warmed me up after wet and cold winter in Oregon.

Good point, Beth. Luckily I use water pump and tank most if time and turn pump off when not using water. I need to put in hook for washcloth so will keep it falling in mind. Would take me a couple months to get enough energy to redo this.

:D Be diligent about turning the pump off... I do the same. I'd hate to see it vibrate down while driving. I say this after noticing the other day I forgot to turn mine off

I'm impressed with your doing that yourself. I had to get help replacing my sink faucet as I couldn't reach in and look in at the same time. The guy who helped had done one like mine before and could do it by feel, with my help as the eyes. Love our small homes but fixes can be difficult, for sure.

Beth, my kitchen sink faucet also needs replacing. It looks good, but it is very, very hard to swivel from one of the double sinks to the other. And I get very good water pressure out of the bathroom sink faucet, but this one is much less, so I think there is some crud in it. However, I cannot really get on my rear end and reach into that dark area. Not only is it a long reach, but that would definitely kick off my vertigo problem.

So, eventually, I will have to pay someone to install a new one. I might ask my son in Ohio to help me next fall, but he is busy and has gotten to the point of paying people to do most projects, so I hate to ask him. The Napa son is just swamped all the time because his wife works longer hours and he has a lot of "house-husband" duties. She makes double the money he does because she is a middle school principal and he is just a teacher.

Alice, you really do need to go there. But you need to try slightly off-season, like November or late April after spring break. And you need to get there early, also--like by no later than 8-9 am in the busy season. While there, you should also visit Willow Beach Marina. Since it is a federal facility, a full-hookup site is only about $26 for seniors. Also gorgeous!!
