Sluggish Wednesday!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sluggish Wednesday!

So, where is everyone?? I almost always sleep in, so when you see me posting this late in the afternoon, it says everyone is either doing nothing or are out and about, maybe even traveling.

I am still in Valley of Fire, and so far this morning, have managed to accomplish the following: Got out of bed, made my bed, got dressed, ate breakfast/lunch, watched TV, thought about what I need to do today, watched others out walking around, checked email, had a snack, checked my class for emails, looked for a Wednesday posting here and could not find it, so started this one, and that is about it!!!!

I do have my pill cooler sitting beside me and intend to count out a couple more weeks of pills, and check to see which ones need refilling. I also need to read the directions for installing my new shower faucets and also try to program my new tire pressure monitors. Sometime today, I will get outside and walk around the campground. i have been really lazy lately, so need to force myself to get some exercise to get my stamina built up!

I have been out and about this morning also. Did a load of laundry, still need to change my sheets or make my bed hmmmmmmmmmm we shall see. Took the dog for a fairly long walk, then decided I needed to go grocery shopping. Came home and fixed lunch and now I have fallen into my recliner and cannot get up LOL

Well. you have accomplished a lot more than me, so you deserve to fall into your recliner.

Retirement sure is tiring, isn't it?

I went in to work for the third day in a row. Came home and drove the rig over to drop off with the mechanic for its check up and oil change scheduled for tomorrow. I fed the dogs and now consider myself an over achiever for the day. Two more days of work this week.

The dogs seem to be adjusting to the boring days of little human contact well. Sunshine and no rain help. I think that they have been spending most of their day time hours outside basking in the sun between tours and patrol responsibilities in the fenced yard.

I don't feel like I did much today but have 11,500 steps on my garmin. Hank and I made it all the way to the river. It's a mile one way. There was raining at 4:00 so didn't think we would walk at all. It's 67 and breezy so a good day to walk. Updated my Garmin GPS and can't find the TomTom to update it. I don't know what the heck I do with things. I put flea treatments on most of the cats.

I got my Verizon bill yesterday and they had added a $10 protection plan when I got the new tablet. It makes me so mad when companies do things like that. They hope people won't notice or take the trouble to change it. On my way to my meeting I went by the Verizon store and made them take it off. I am there with my bill and ID and they still want a pin number. Ha, I happened to remember what it is. That was a miricle.

They are saying we could have some bad weather in the morning with hail. Hope they are wrong about that. It looks like we are headed into the 80's for the next week.

I made my way to another New Mexico SP today. Ty and I walked over an hour after getting here and still didn't see more than 1/2 of the cg areas. Most of the sites are dry camping and very view for bigger rigs (that I saw)... I'm in an electric site today. I could see rain to the west so came back. Puttered around, the winds and rain came through. Waited until I thought it was over and we walked the Dinosaur Trail. Wow... It is fascinating. Sandi, you would enjoy! That said, we were just finishing the track area, about a mile or so from the campsite and the winds picked up again! Walked back much quicker lol. Only got sprinkled on. I will come back here again... Clayton Lake SP. Probably would not plan another visit to last night's (Ute Lake SP) unless for an overnight stop because on my way somewhere. Nothing wrong with it, but not my cup of tea when so many others call to me.

have a memorial service tomorrow for a friend's husband. He passed away last week got a phone call the other day asking for some information and then asked if I would make a potato salad for the luncheon following the services. Last night I boiled the eggs and today cooked the potatoes took them and the ingredients into to games with me so that I could put the salad together after games.. then a friend came and got the salad and took it to the church to put into the fridge... they wanted a large salad which is what they got... tasted good had to sample for quality control right???
so that is pretty much what I accomplished oh wait knew something else got stuff put back on the desk.. right why when I am leaving soon... it travels there where I had it at wasn't positive that the slides would go over it so felt it best to just put it where it belongs....
you all have a great evening
