It seems were all skipping today. Ty and I have gone on a couple hikes/walks. Otherwise I've been a curmudgeon with a few family campers. Oh well.

Hi Beth & everyone!

Beth, thanks for all you do here and keeping us going!

Been thinking about all of you, with the weather and all. Barbie, take a big breath. We have friends coming next week for a few days and are planning our get together to keep them busy. They'll be hoteling it but it will still be fun to be together. Brendac and us will be going out the beginning of the week to get whatever I'm wearing to a wedding. It's an outdoor wedding and I bought a really pretty white lace blouse last week in Daytona Beach and am looking for a long flowing skirt/culottes type of thing that I could wear to church. Went to see my orthopedic doc yesterday and we will put off surgery as long as possible but will end up having shoulder replacement, rather than repairing the rotator cuff. Karen, I always appreciate your input.

I went to Best Buy and found the TV I wanted. Managed to get it set up. It's one of those smart TV's and part of the setup it wants you to put an app on your phone. No thank you. My TV doesn't need to talk to my phone. I don't like the feet, they don't look very stable.

I never did hear what was going on with I-10 but when I went over an overpass the East Bound traffic was backed up as far as I could see.

Well I should have skipped Wednesday. All loaded up in the Motorhome and hit the road on my way to the National Specialty Dog Show about 200 miles north. Got about 12 miles up the freeway and I was dead in the water, no power. Took a couple of hours to get the tow and transport to my favorite RV repair place. They determined it was the alternator. OK so they tried their best to get me back on the road BUT found a leak from a broken C clamp on my coolant hose, ok fixed that.............but it was still leaking onto the ground. Uh oh, seems the radiator is leaking also.....so I need a new radiator. Have to order it so wont be here until next week. OK Plan B...................got a hotel reservation close to the dog show. But have to go get my fridge unloaded, clothes, shoes, etc They plugged me in last night but will want to move it to the secure locked area until it can be worked on some more. Took me 2 days to load that stuff and now I have to unload about half of it again LOL Oh well the life of an RV'er. This is my first time in all my years of RV'ing that I have ever had to be towed. So my morning will be full with unloading, packing, making sure I have everything I need for the dog and myself. Then I will be "on the road" in my SUV ha ha

Well, that sucks! That was an expensive 12 mile trip! Glad you will still be able to make it to the dog show tho.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
