Sunshine Tuesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunshine Tuesday

Morning all. Been up and have had breakfast, so thought I would start some coffee foryou sleepyheads. Dogs have done tbrir morning routine, so back to bed they went   Another sunny day on tap here. Things just keep slowly melting down. Looking forward to getting my trailer uncovered and ready for season, but patience required right now. Thinking on a couple little remodeling projects, one being to add couple more doors to overhead cabinet, but need to take one off and over to Forest River dealer to get two more ordered. Also debating about painting bathroom and putting stick in tiles around sink and also in kitchen area. There are some neat wallpapers out too that look so real, you think they are tiles.

Beth, thanks for advice on AAA. I did read the fine print and yes, there are areas where they may not cover. Thry have different affiliated Auto groups around the country. The one I have belonged to for 48 years, covers the states around MI for the most part and a few others. My thoughts are that since I am primarily staying in MI this year, it’s good enough for now and can add something else later if I head out elsewhere. But I like to feel out others experiences with various ones. I have often thought that CoachNet, Good Sam etc., are more RV oriented than AAA, because it’s The main focus of their business. Whereas most auto insurance companies who offer roadside assistance are more auto oriented and don’t understand RV’s that much.

Not much on agenda here today. Trip to town and the usual afternoon walk. So guess I’ll head for the shower eventually and get moving. Need a hair cut, but both the gals who do my hair are not around. One left for another shop and the other had shoulder surgery. Hate it when I have to start with somebody new again, but eventually we get it right. So will stop by and see what’ up. Have a nice day all.

Good morning Sue and all who follow!

Am waiting for my handyman to show up. Yesterday I got a lot of the inside stuff done. Just a few more things in here to take care of. Today will mostly be outside stuff. Lots to do out there! The yard is going to be a big selling point for this place so I want it to look really nice.

My roommate is mad at me because I went into her bedroom and bathroom to do some work and didn't "ask" for permission to go in there. Last I checked, it is my house. Wasn't like I was snooping or something. I need to get this stuff done and she knows I have a lot of projects going on. Having roommates has it's pros and cons, for sure!

I moved the listing day to next Wednesday instead of Monday. I have Monday and Tuesday off next week again and that will give me more time to get this place cleaned up. Need time to wash windows, floors, put away clutter stuff, etc. once my projects are done.

Just for kicks, I bought a St Joseph home selling kit! I got a tiny statue of St Joseph that I am supposed to bury upside down in the ground facing my house and it is supposed to help sell the house faster. I guess a lot of people swear by it. Will give it a shot! :)

I better get some breakfast in me so I have some energy for all the work ahead of me today!
Have a good day!

Finally getting around to off loading the last of the long travel stuff from the rig. I think my organization and cleaning routines are more closely alined to MArtha's than Sue's and Barbie's. Thing eventually get done but are best prompted by a deadline or other specific need. I am using the rig to head down to Kentucky for another dog show this weekend so the remainder of the camping/travel stuff needed to move out and the show grooming and set up stuff needed to be moved from the van and find their place inside in rig. I don't plan to even tow the Honda so no using it for a "storage trailer" this time. Every time I travel to a show I bring different combination of equipment and crates depending upon how many dogs I am traveling with, whether I need to set up a grooming area inside a building or groom from outside the rig. With Lark and Audrey coming up to the show last weekend I had to haul different sized crates into and out of the building different days depending upon which one was entered that day. Then there is the motel crating needed when we travel and stay over night at a Red Roof. We call it fun.

My sinus garbage from the last week and a half (that turned into a full blown sneezy, drippy cold Sunday morning) seems to be calming down a little. My nose is not looking as much like Rudolph's. This being spring I know that it will attempt to linger as long as it can. That is what colds do this time of year.

Josef has an appointment with his chiropractor tomorrow afternoon for a check up on his shoulder and general structural and balance health. He seemed out of sorts again at the beginning of the weekend and I want to rule out underlying discomfort from structural issues that he can't tell me about directly. It's only money. I keep reminding myself that it is why I work projects every spring.

Now I am off to the laundromat to wash up the big rugs and dog bedding from the rig and anything else I can find around here that fit better in the larger commercial washing machines better that our large washer and dryer down in the basement.

Enjoying todays sunshine even if it is still a bit cool for this time of year in Ohio.

My nephew's wedding was yesterday. I just got a very scathing email from one of my brothers about me not attending. I am very upset now.

Good afternoon. I have spent most of today putting out fires. First there was my 12volt lights wouldnt come on. Thought it might be the solenoid again but then I plugged it in to the house and they worked so guess the batteries were just low. It has been sitting in storage but with the battery disconnect on and I run my genny once a month but guess it isnt enough. Then decided to blow all the barkdust off my patio...............oops lost all power in the MH and blower. Checked the fuses and circuit breakers in the MH ....nope. Then realized I have a GFI reset on my outside plug................YUP that fixed it..........and no more blowing. I used a broom LOL

Next fire..........Tire Pressure Monitoring System. I reprogrammed it (this one you program the sensors BEFORE you put them on. Well I did this the other day. These are anti theft and you have to use this tool to put them on..........I had to be a contortionist and get on the ground to hang on to the tool and screw them on. I would have moved my MH up a bit to better align the valve stems if I hadnt put the jacks down and I was lined up perfectly. I must have looked pretty ridiculous because one of my neighbors pulled over in his car and came over to see what in the world I was doing LOL SO now I have them all on...............fire up the monitor and it cant read 2 of the sensors. Sheesh. So read the manual...again for troubleshooting, told me to take the ones off that weren't reading and put them back on. Fortunately they were one on my car and one on the outside rear dually that I could reach easily whew. They are reading now...BUT have to stop at the tire place in the morning because every one of my dang tires is a bit low. Thank goodness they have lots of young agile men working there. I did get the car hooked up also. I wanted to do as much as I could today as it is supposed to be raining tomorrow.

I did get Emma to the groomers and some groceries so all is well in that department.

Loaded the fridge and freezer and some stuff for the cupboards, still have my clothes, shoes, and electronics to go. Will load a few clothes tonite but the electronics will wait until morning. I am only going to be gone about a week so dont need too many clothes.

Barbie dont let your brother upset you.....he sure didnt offer to pay your way and good grief it is just a wedding. You have enough irons in the fire right now.

I am parked in my recliner right now after a little Motrin/Tylenol and lunch. Sipping on a Caramel Mocha.

Barbie, the way your brothers treat you I don't think you should care very much what they think.

Tina, no use doing anything until the last minute. If I clean house too soon it just gets dirty again. I work better under pressure. If I had as many project as Sue and Barbie I wouldn't know what to do.

Almost everyone at the campout last weekend was suffering with allergies. My nose ran the first night and I thought I was coming down with something but then it cleared up. Everything was yellow from the pine pollen. My car is yellow and we don't have any pine trees around here.

I went to Walmart looking for a TV but they didn't have the size or brand I wanted. Guess I will have to go to Best Buy tomorrow. I could order one on line but the condition of the boxes that are delivered is not good. I don't know what condition a TV would be in when they broke a kennel tray. The satellite dome on the camper is not working again. Grrrrrrrr I'm going to try a different receiver and if that isn't the problem back to the shop.

Barbie, forget your nasty brother. At least your siblings are not giving newspaper, TV, and radio Interviews like those of a certain British Duchess! We all have bad relatives, but that group is a real mess!!!

Got papers to grade and need to turn in grades tomorrow, so very short posting today, but I did want to say something about your relatives!! I dumped a bunch of my cousins off of Facebook a while back.

Barbie, you gave them all a chance to respond. I'm guessing now he's saying you never contacted him. Put them behind you!

I had a strange encounter today. Ty and I met a man walking his dog and the man and I were having a conversation when it went weird. He started talking about the government people staying in ALL rv parks to catch the rver's who are doing illicit things (sellng drugs, laundering money, etc) and to be careful because they all just want to take all our rights away from us. He was giving stories and going on and on... I finally got away from him. Sadly, he believed everything he was saying.

Today was supposed to be cooler. They lied lol... Which was fine with me. But windier than I wanted and while the wind is gone now, it's supposed to be back tomorrow, so I didn't get my kayak out and prepared today. Should it calm enough I might even get it out on Thursday. Supposed to be mid to upper 80's the next few days.

it was Tues and did the normal things... I have a feeling that in a few days I will be here by myself...
the dumpsters haven't been emptied this week not sure what is going on... have stuff to take to them but no place to put them
