Tuesday and Sun

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Tuesday and Sun

Postby Othersharon » Tue Mar 19, 2019 10:08 am

Good morning! It’s a sunny and cold morning here but supposed to get a bit warmer later. At least we don’t have snow like you, Sue! Well, maybe a pile here and there! But there’s hope for spring coming, cold at night but days seem to be warming up a bit. Anne, exciting news for you! Tina, glad the judges saw what a good pup you have! My guy finally got a haircut yesterday. Probably lost some weight from all the fur he had! He didn’t get his summer cut but is looking so much better. He was pretty shaggy!
I had made plans to do some running today but son texted me to ask me to come help get their house ready for a showing this afternoon. So I’ll do that today and run tomorrow, I guess. Good thing I’m flexible! Now that the weather is getting better the activity has picked up on their house so have a feeling this’ll happen more often. Just hoping they get an offer soon. My friends purchased a 5th wheel yesterday so I’m super excited for them! I’ve been telling her that she’ll know when they walk in that it’s the one and that’s prettty much what happened. They’ve been looking off and on for quite awhile. This is going to be such fun!
Not much else happening here so I’ll quit babbling and go get myself ready to go clean house. Hope everyone has a great day and those of you feeling higher temps, enjoy!

It's partly sunny and 66 today. I don't see any rain for us until next week. It looks like South Florida has a lot of rain this morning.

I finally got started on my taxes yesterday. I should be far enough along this afternoon to call and make an appointment with the CPA. I need some questions answered about the estate and the lawyer hasn't been very helpful.

There was a nursery festival going on near the campground I was at this past weekend. There are many nurseries in that area. I bought 2 bougainvillea hanging baskets and gave one to my neighbor. They are so pretty right now but don't know how long that will last with me.

The vet couldn't see anything wrong with Sweetie Pie's leg. He wants me to give her pain medicine for a week but I don't see that is helping any. I probably should shut her up in the kennel so she isn't hippiedy hopping all over the house. She follows me every step I make.

Good Morning. Partly sunny, parly cloudy but should be in the low 70's by afternoon. Had my MD appt today and didn't have to have labs drawn whew as I only have one vein LOL (talked him out of them as they will be drawn in June) he calls me his "special circumstances patient". LOL I get ONE infusion every six months instead of 2 (2 weeks apart) every 6 months because I am doing so well. Doesnt follow protocol for this med but we figure if 1/2 dose is doing it's job we go for it. I really like him. Each infusion is $13,000 so I am saving money for our healthcare right there.

Load of laundry in and will have lunch then will take Emma up to the dog park as we havent been up there for a while. Take the Motorhome in Thursday to get dewinterized then let the camping begin.

Martha I think it might be a good idea to contain Sweetie Pie for a bit. She sounds like a real character.

It's chilly and very breezy in Ocala. We were going to go paddling tomorrow but we've cancelled because of the weather, but I'm sure our friends will still be going. Not sure if Steve would even allow me to use a paddle with my torn rotator cuff as he won't let me drive the car, either, as we have a stick shift. But I'm enjoying having a transportation director!

Went out today to get my AC fan checked. The mechanic found it was stuck and got it to run by just freeing it up manually, but is going to order a new fan for me. So back to campground, got all set up, turned on AC, and it worked--for about two minutes. Slowed down and quit. I tried again, it struggled and quit again. So I sent an email (no cell service here) to the shop and asked what it would cost to order a motor, since I think it could really use one. Hate to spend the money, but I really need AC at my age, and don't want to have it quit again.

So waiting to hear the cost, but think I really need to go for it. At least it will be cloudy and cooler tomorrow and the next few days.

The sun has set and it is a lot cooler inside now. I had a big chunk of cooked turkey, so I picked up some celery, walnuts, and dried cranberries and made some turkey salad. Tastes great in this warm weather.

a cloudy breezy day here...the clouds were the big fluffy ones but enough clouds that I am wondering if I will have to pull out the lanterns as the thing that shows how charged the batteries are wasn't up as high as it usually is ...and tomorrow is suppose to be worse days like this I realize that I do need a generator... oh well as they say this too will pass... just need to be patient and a month will pass and will be off the desert and plugged in... haha
choir practice and family history then went to Rv lifestyles got stuff for the tanks came home and did eventually do dishes and a short nap.. made BLT's for supper so like my toaster thanks Lyn :D

For those of you who followed Malia's journey this is a memorial page if anyone is interested. Her daughter just sent it to me.

Am in Palm Springs right now. Will be heading out early in the morning to meet the tour bus for the wildflower tour in Anza Borrego. Was supposed to rain tomorrow but now there is no longer rain in the forecast, so that is good!

Was 87, sunny, and windy here today. The drive out here was so pretty with all the flowers and green hills all over.

The ferret rescue in Phoenix wasn't able to find someone to meet me out here to pick up the ferret food and supplies I got, so will have to figure something else out for getting it to them later.

Hope those of you with broken parts, get them fixed or replaced soon!

Good night!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
