Tooting Tuesday...Morning just a wee bit early.. I woke up with a cold in my nose ! (Hope you are all singing with me ) I went to bed very early last night.. Ya might know the day before I'm to head in to the hospital..Ouch I am coming down with a cold...Grrrrrrrrrr....It's true.. the sneezing started around 6:30pm and it went down hill from there.. I took my Tylenol and me and the Critters crawled into bed.. under the warm Electric Blanket..and even wore my knee socks and flannel night gown.. now you know I wasn't feeling good... my Joey (little critter) woke me by pawing so I had to get up and let him out.. all the others are still sleeping...and I can't blame them cause as soon as I'm through here.. I'm gonna make a Nose dive..back under...brrrrrrrrrrr

Did a quickie through the forum and I have to tell you.. a good discussion on Coffee Pots. Yep.. Looksie where Jenny is heading back in WA.. LOL Mr Coffee and Black and Decker are running Neck and Neck.. but as for me.. It's Perked.. I have my trusted Coleman's 14 cupper and boy it makes great coffee.. to a science.. I've done those Mr Coffee's ..they are ok..but nothing beats the Perked plus.. I like my coffee HOT..and richly brewed..aaaaaaah good to the last drop !!

Oh, DpF.. (Pat).. hmmm let me see.. two different shoes ???? well as long as they were the same color..LOL Did ya hide your feet from others LOL that's when ya hope you sit at a desk..ooooooh Pat..Yeppers Monday's sure do catch ya..

NaSoosie.. (Soos) I'm glad you enjoyed that picture.. That's how I always felt too..but now that I'm retired.. I only feel that way when the weekends come..and the whole family comes to visit.. hahahahaha..nah only sometimes when the kiddies come with them..ouch.. let me hide..(oh did I say that )..

ReAnn's has a birthday.. ..She's living out her dream.. ReAnn..we'd sure like to hear more about it.. But know you are thought of here ...and we hope your "Special day " is a gooder..

RV Grammy.. (Lori and Ernie) yep, we sure do understand.. We miss ya.. but post when ya can.. Not getting the Signal is always a problem...no matter how many people they have working LOL Love them commercials..

Bether's sure hope all is well with you.. I think I read where you were gonna be heading out.. So pop in and let's hear where you're at..

Speaking of which.. Sparkle we haven't heard from you either.. Now we know your Lodge is busy..so iffn' on your day off..just give us a Yell.. so we know all is well with you.. Got use to all your posting and now we're into the Silent mode..we miss ya ..

Kelpie is back at her home.. and she's got Eddie into Obedience Classes.. Now we cant wait to see the pictures of the Garden and hear about Eddie's improvements..LOL he'll get his diplomma..!!!

Well, I'm gonna attempt this again.. (yeah I lost my post ) and I'm gonna head back under yunder as they say..

Kitchen is open and at 5:30am they'll be a pot of Coffee perking.. a Kettle Whistling for the Cocoa and Tea drinkers and big pitcher of OJ and Cola's in the frig.. I made Blueberry and Corn Muffins.. have some Scones..and Cinnamon Bread..oh yeah and a big jar of Biscotti just waiting to be dunked...and ya have to dunk them babies..

So pop in grab a chair and tell us all.. cause you know we all are just a anxious to hear all the goodies.. Pictures too..

Good Frigid Morning from the Adirondacks to Barb, and all!

We will all be thinking of you as you are recovering from your latest medical procedures...I sure hope they will still do them if you are sick with a cold. I have my fingers crossed for you, and will send healing thoughts your way for the rest of the week. I hope you were able to get back into bed and get some much-needed rest so you can heal fast and perfectly.

This is not a good temperature (22 F.) for all of our berry blossoms which are out and about up here in the mountains. But oh well...nothing we can do about it...or is there? That is the question of the day----can we help moderate climate change?

Thank you for the coffee and all those goodies I am going to sneak past! Coffee warms my cold hands this morning, as well as my belly.

I am hoping all the Ididaroad travelers are safe and comfy wherever they are. Soon they will all be meeting up and taking to the roads and by-roads together. What fun! Hope we hear something from them all soon.

I hope you all have an interesting day and tell us about it so I have something to read when I get back from school!

Sure nuf, woke up 2:30 this a.m.... not really sick but do have a stuffy nose. Wasn't worried or sad about anything,.... just wide awake. yuk.

so i'm up early and will probably fall asleep on my keyboard at school. if you all notice your computer screen vibrating it's probably me snoring!

Good morning, all. I'm up a little later than usual. We're here in Austin and enjoying pleasantly cool weather in the am and pm, so sleeping without air conditioning-which I love. Barbz, all good thoughts here and also had the same thought as Soos, about your maybe cold.

I've been having a little problem with dry eyes for the last few months and doing all the dr suggested. The last few days have been waking up with my right eyelid sort of stuck in the closed position. One of the challenges of being on the road is finding a doctor that you can get into quickly and finding a solution that doesn't mean hanging around. Hope those guys don't think I'm winking at them. carold

G'day! I was just thinking maybe I have a chance to get the Reservation phone out of my ear and check on the Forum and there was Barbz (good to see you're back, Barb) asking where the H I was! Today and tomorrow I do Front Desk so I don't go in until 2.00pm. Could it be that I'll get some pics uploaded? I'm going to try.
We have had our first firing. A guy with a big chip on his shoulder....first he does a written report because he didn't get served his breakfast quickly enough. He was apologised to, but continued to take offence. There were a couple of other incidents, but the clincher was...he ordered lunch (he gets it half price remember) He felt that his Potato Salad portion wasn't large enough so he went to the owners cabin and WOKE HER UP to complain. She is working a 19 hour day training chefs, so she has to be there before 6.00am, then back in to do the dinners closing at 10.00pm. She called me and in a weary voice asked me to tell the Chef to serve larger portions. I went into the kitchen and there is the CHIP yelling at the Chef. Previously she would have made the best of it, but things sure have changed here and he be gone! Have to tell you the owner is very pleased that Echo and the Wickedgirl are here.

Morning from San Miguel, it's beautiful, as always! Zeee, hope all goes well at drs. Carold, sorry to miss your Austin stop, maybe next time. I'm still sneezing a bit too, hoping the rest of group doesn't pick it up! Well, we are out the garden gate to look for a fruit vendor. DGD is loving the busy streets, so much to see! Morning from overcast and chance of rain PNW.
I think I have almost dried out from Zeke (DS 12) baseball game last night. The game started at 6, right around that time I light drizzle began...by the 2nd inning...we were all getting very wet and the infield very muddy. We had a towel in the car, so we were drying the baseball's off as much as possible between batters. We kept joking that the boys would not slide..as it was a mud puddle. I told one of the dad's..once one of them finally slides..believe they will all be doing it rather they need to or not and that is exactly what happened. I need to do that photo bucket thing and get a picture of DS after the game. Needless to say...his uniform is soaking in a bucket of oxyclean. You do know that it was a MAN who designed light colored baseball pants...a mom would have never have done to herself. DS also has had 3 years of Football with white pants...All I can say is oxyclean is a gift to mothers from God.

Now granted normally they cancel the games if it is rainy. This was a rain makeup game no less. Once it was apparent that things were getting really yucky. The umpire called a time out. Talked to the coaches..made some adjusts to the strike zone, said his goal was to get to the 4th inning and call the game. Then it would be considered a legal game and would not have to made up. I think the boys had fun none the less. They did win so now they are 6 -3 for the season.

Today is a quiet day...but then the evening gets busy. The boys have Boy Scouts, older DD has youth group and then younger DD and I are going to a Partylite/Two Sister's gourmet open house.

Okay I have to figure out how to make it smaller.
