A Good Morning to you all! Cold morning to start, but heading to 40 today. That’s a heat wave for us
After reading Tina’s post about carrying extra charging cords for phone etc., I got to thinking that I should probably get some extras to keep in my trailer rather than cart them back and forth from the house every time I go camping. Maybe put one in truck too although my rule has always been to keep my phone turned off and in it’s case when I am driving. Let’s face it, even if you are synced to your vehicles on board system, the minute that phone rings, your mind is off your driving. I figure that’s what voicemail’s for. I can check phone when I stop someplace. MI has a law against texting and driving of course, but now they are talking of one that will prohibit any type of communication, videos etc.to be sent or received via an electronic device i.e. phone, computer, tablet camera etc. and also wearing of earphones in both ears while driving. Too many distracted drivers out of there. And accidents caused by them.
O’Sharon, sounds like you had a fun trip looking for elk. One of these days I’ll have to come back and do more exploring. Should go back to Gettysburg again as it was so hot when I was there, I couldn’t do some things. And the Deleware Water Gap area begs a trip too. Barbie, PA isn’t the only state over this way that has elk. The Pigeon River Country State Forest, also called the “Big Wild” about 30 miles NE of me here, is home to the largest elk herd east of the Mississippi. I don’t know what this year’s count showed, but the herd usually runs around 1200-1300 animals. Shelia, that hot fudge sounds good. I’ll run right out there for a hot fudge Sunday Except I’m not eating sweets.
Errand running morning here and not sure what rest of day will bring. Rain coming next two days, so fur kids and I will take a nice look no walk in today’s sunshine. Guess I should get a move on. Y’all have a great day!
