Snowy Sunday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Snowy Sunday

It’s afternoon here on the east coast but figured I’d jump in. Weather people said snow would hit us about 1pm and they nailed it! Temps still above freezing so right now it seems to be melting as it hits the ground. That’ll change later, I’m sure. Judy, when I read about the trees coming down where should are I had to be grateful that I’ve only had fairly small branches come down. But got a fairly large pile of kindling to get rid of when I can get out in the yard. Mother Nature’s way of pruning. Barbie, your photos are lovely. You do have a good eye. Sue, I won’t complain any more about cleaning up a few inches of snow here. Nothing compared to what you’ve gotten!
Well, nothing else happening here. Dreaming about dewinterizing Lola but know it’s way to soon! But I can dream! Take care, everyone and have a good week.

Beautiful day here in southern Oregon. Sunny and no clouds. 53° Time for lunch now after a busy morning.

Been up since 5am got busy around 8. Did a load of laundry, steam mopped the kitchen floor, vacuumed and then shampooed my bedroom carpet. Went outside and went on "poop patrol" then weeded my shrubbery and trimmed some bushes back. Now time for a bit of lunch. Tomorrow will be a Costco run, Home Depot, and get my car washed, has lots of grime on it. Will then shampoo the living room before I go do my errands. I have missed these sunny days the last few weeks. Survived the snow and those cold temperatures brrrrrrrrrr. Hope they stay away now as I am ready for Spring.

I tweaked my back last week and have been babying it along but today it feels really good so did not want to over do it just cause it feels better.

I think our cold front is here. The temperature is dropping and the wind is picking up. I decided to go to Home Depot and of course it started raining hard. I only saw one accident on the way. I don't know why I even bother to go to a store instead of ordering online. I had looked online for a rubber runner to put on the carport and the computer said they had some in the store. Of course, they couldn't find them. I came home and ordered some from Amazon.

I guess I should be glad my family calls me but my step-daughter just called and talked for 50 minutes. Sometimes I wonder why I answered the phone.

I'm trying to make myself go walk Hank. I know he wants to go but it's cold. Hopefully the rain has passed.

Not getting a lot done today again even tho the sun finally came out. I have a sore throat and cold symptoms today. Not sure if it is from the "incident" last night or a coincidence. Taking ZiCam today.

Need to at least get some laundry done today. I did clean up the kitchen a bit, so I guess the day hasn't been a total waste so far!

We have two storm systems moving in here in the next week. One on Wednesday and another one on Friday. More rain and cooler temps.

Sitting in a beautiful but cold State Park in Missouri. The dogs were happy to have longer walks. Parked along the river right in North Little Rock gave us electric but no interesting dig walking. It is too cold to be in Ohio but it is also cold hanging out waiting for the weather to warm up. I have about decided to just head north. I have some things I want to take care of before heading off to the dog show in Louisville a week from this Wednesday. I don't need to drive crazy distances though. I am aiming for Wednesday or Thursday. I should probably check to see if the snow in the driveway is clear of the rig's parking spot though.

Tina, isn't Ohio part of that huge storm system wreaking havoc thru the midwest right now? Stay safe on your way back home!

it has been a normal Sunday church home then a potluck then home and nap phone call with youngest. chatted with Kerry for a few. not a busy day at all. My family get on a chat line on FB for about an hour on Sunday nights good to keep up with each other one brother never gets on another used to be really good but not lately so it is mainly my mom sister and one brother and myself... my dd posted on FB asking if anyone had any heat lamps... as one of the goats gave birth and it's too cold outside so at that time were in one of the bathrooms... bet they are cuties. I remember the spring times on a ranch nothing unusual to get up and find a calf or more in the utility room
hope all keep safe while experiencing cold snow or winds...
