Superbloom CA Poppies

I spent a few hours up in Lake Elsinore today checking out the amazing "superbloom" of poppies on the hillsides up there due to the very wet winter we have had here.

Thank you for the pictures. They are beautiful. The pasture here is almost a solid yellow but I think they are weeds that came in with the rye grass seed. If it wasn't so wet the guy that has the cows would have mowed them.
