Thursday, last day of February

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Thursday, last day of February

Morning All, sorry to read about Mother Nature’s antics. I think she needs some prosac. I am on the verge of getting some for me. Dealing with account fraud. Someone trying to open accounts in my name, unsuccessfully thank goodness. Called Equifax and it was of course automated to add fraud alert to my accounts. Had some banking business, it took 1 hour and multiple signatures. Changing my address on my drivers license took over 4 hours at the MVA. Getting nervous, how much longer will I be able to keep up with technology, scammers and the hoops you have to jump through to be safe. Maybe I should put my money in the mattress and buy a gun. Where’s my prosac. Be careful out there.

Shirl, I'm glad they weren't successful. That would have been more of a mess.

I wrote a LONG message yesterday.. Was almost finished when Ty hit my phone with his nose and it disappeared. Oh well. A couple interesting things. I left my SKP site Monday. I'm on the "wish list" for a different site. Tuesday, driving in New Mexico, I get a call that it's available. Thinking quickly I decided it wasn't a good time to do at this time so I said no thanks but keep me on the list if it comes up again. (I will admit if it had happened before I left, I'd probably have gone through with it). I'm of mixed emotions, but it's done. I also, on Tuesday, on a route I've taken and know... With only a couple turns... Didn't make one and went over 20 miles wondering why things didn't look right before turning around. Lol

Ty and I have walked a couple/few miles and it's at least a mile back to our site. I'm sitting on a bench and he's underneath, sound asleep. I'll be waking him up shortly to continue home.

Wohoo sunshine and blue skies here today, tho it is still chilly out. Most snow is all gone. I had to go out and get some groceries as I hate shopping on the weekend AND it is the 1st tomorrow so we all know what that means.

Going to make some Creamy Reuben Soup tomorrow as I made it once before and it was really tasty so think will make some for this weekend. I had to get the fixin's at the store. Maybe I will make some bread in my bread machine to go with it. I am watching my carbs so I might still have some in the freezer I better look first LOL

Bought some shrimp today they were big and looked good and already cooked so think I will have a shrimp salad for lunch or dinner.

Hope everyone's weather is improving. Clock change on March 10th.....yay I love that I can walk the dog in the evening or just get outside to putter in the yard. Need to remember Rabbits in the morning...........I wouldn't bet on it with my track record.

Two days in a row Hank got away from me before I got the leash on him. The first day he just went around to the carport and tried to get in the car. Yesterday we had a really long walk. He headed out down the road and we were almost to the river before I caught him. I'm pretty sure he's deaf and I think a little senile too. I'm just afraid he will get hit by a car because he doesn't hear it. I need to get some fence panels and make a small yard so he can't get out.

I had to go get some cat food. It wouldn't have been pretty if the bowl was empty tonight. It started raining on me before I got home but looks like it quit. There aren't many days that we see the sun lately.

I have been looking for the charger for one of my cameras for months and finally found it in a basket of food in the camper. I have looked at a charger on Amazon several times but kept hoping it would turn up. Now I need to find the book because I can't remember how to delete a picture. It seems like I spend a lot of time looking for things. I can put something down and it is good and lost.

Shirl, don't you just want to shoot those people. I froze our credit before Harold died. I hope no one can open an account in my name because I can't even get a credit card unless I unfreezes my credit. It's a good thing I had some cards in my name because they must check death records. They closed Harold's accounts and I didn't call them. I wish that lawyer would finish up the estate work. I can't do my taxes until I see what he did.

I decided to run the self clean cycle on my oven. There's a cast iron skillet that had a lot of crud on it and I haven't been able to clean it. I put it in the oven and it burned all the crud off. It was like new so I put oil on it and seasoned it again.

It's raining again and I didn't go get the mail when I had a chance.
