Finally working

I've been on the phone with Tech Support for almost an hour and think everything with Internet is working now. I hope.
Bill is down in the kitchen making crepes = yum - spread them with carmel sauce and roll and eat them. YUM!
Got some pictures loaded if I can get to them - This is Bill, Liz and Carol checking out their picture. sure enjoyed their visit. Glad we talked Bill into taking us for a drive to see the covered bridges before the heavens opened up.

Took a couple pictures of the town, didn't get to go there with Liz and Carol - rain, rain, rain

some of the little stores and stuff

more of same

last weekend was the spring blossom festival = had to sneak this picture of a piece of stained glass - really neat
Image
I took a walk down the hill to check for mushroom didn't find any but it was pretty there

Some of our friends - "It's about time you put some more corn out."

Brought some of my firends - there were 4 of them

Our soon to be strawberry patch

Some of the flowers blooming around the house

Here is a picture of the almost painted house - the biggest part left is the top of the front. Thank all of you for your nice comments on my bathroom stained glass window. I had never really looked at it at night with the light coming through it. It is the window on the right side of the deck

Painter should finish the house this week, IF we have 4 days of sunshine that is. Before I forget the Italian dinner we had with Liz and Carol was - red sauce Bill made and Gnocchis (premade - bought in store) they are made with potato, egg and flour then boiled like noodles.

Ah, I like gnocchis and wonder why I haven't bought any since being on the road. So easy to fix - just add sauce! Your house looks GREAT. As well as all the blooms coming up and color all around. I know you're sick of the rain, but it's done wonders for the green and flowers! Love how beautiful it all looks. And I hope your internet is back to stay - have missed you.

I think I have said it before, but that paint job on the house looks great. Nice French doors out onto the deck.

Love your posts and love that you aare right next door to me (so to speak). Are you near Brown county state park? I've been wanting to go there forever. Maybe I'll come spend a few days and we can meet.

One summer when I was living in a tent up here in the Adirondacks, jobless, I ate just about anything and everything I could find in the woods or fields or catch on a fishing pole! My favorite mushrooms were what they call "chicken mushrooms' which grow on the sides of tree trunks, a type of bracket fungus. When fried, they really do taste like chicken! BUT, once, when hunting for morels, we found false morels, which aren't deadly, but sure are toxic enough to cause some real grief, especially with no plumbing facilities! To this day, I totally despise and avoid all mushrooms/fungi of any kind--even store-bought ones!
