Morning Shirl and all. Glad you got the dolly figured out Shirl. You sound like a lot of us, read the instructions after the fact
If one can even read the instructions these days. So many are just pictures and no words
BETH, I’ve got same issues with my feet too. Up a size and wide width. Our feet spread out as we get older. They got lotsa years on them. But I think it’s also somewhat to how shoes are made these days too.
Been busy here this morning. Heating techs are here to install my new boiler. My old one as wearing out and although I hate to fork out two arms and a leg for a new one, with a special that knocked off $400 bucks and a rebate from my energy company, a few bucks in the pocket was too tempting. So at the moment I have a house with no heat, but it’s warm in here. They are hoping to have it done by end of day. It’s cloudy with a cold wind blowing, but no big deal.
Finished up my kitchen project yesterday, now to give it a good cleaning. Have a closet rod to install in one of my closets and transfer some stuff between two closets. But first want to clean the closet I am going to put the stuff back into. Good time to do it while everything’s out of it and off the shelves. It could use a coat of paint, we shall see.
O’Sharon, hang in there, Springs coming. I’ll be getting tired of winter pretty soon, but will keep busy so it doesn’t bother me. Our local paper ecitor touched on that in his last column, about us getting winter weary, especially with the parade of storms coming this past month. But at same time he said, the season makes us slow down, let’s us spend more family time together, makes us realize how lucky we are to come home to a warm house, food in our pantries, loving family, great co workers, good snowplowing (road maintaintainance) and so forth . It makes us more thankful for our haves and not focused on our wants. I think it teaches us patience, makes us stronger people, able to deal with whatever nature throws at us, teaches us to be humble too. Gets us outdoors, exercising (snow removal) or any winter sport you like or just walking in it’s beauty, getting fresh air. And gives us an appreciation for the seasons. Unless you have experienced a cold, snowy winter, nothing is more exhilerating than watching spring burst forth in all it’s glory. After looking at months of white, you never imagine how many shades of green there are in nature till it’s in front of your eyes.
Enough waxing poetic,
Have a great day all.
