And It's Wednesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

And It's Wednesday

Fun times with Tina yesterday (check her blog ... Link posted in general room). I think Lark enjoyed her birthday.
I know I did. Tina is going horseback riding today then I believe we're going to eat somewhere in town after. My plans are doing some necessary work and maybe a load or two of laundry. Time to walk Ty. I love that he lets me stay in mornings.

It's another gray day. I don't remember the last time I saw the sun. This crazy weather. Last night it warmed up to 72 during the night and then started cooling off. It has been lightly raining off and on since yesterday and everything is wet again. At least it's not snow.

I went to Lafayette yesterday and ate BBQ at Dickey's with my son. We lucked out, the rib plate was the special of the day. I checked out a couple of the discount stores but only bought some maple syrup. I wish I had brought my tablet with me. I don't remember how old it is but I'm sure it's due for an upgrade. It is so slow I hate to use it.

I had a big container in the freezer and didn't know what was in it. I decided to take it out and it was shrimp. I usually clean shrimp before I freeze it and this still had the heads on. I don't remember where this came from. Nothing like cleaning shrimp for breakfast. I will be having several shrimp meals this week since I don't want to freeze it again.

Not morning but must be somewhere! Winter wonderland today. It’s been snowing all morning but now looks like there’s a pause before the sleet and freezing rain starts. That I’m not crazy about. I’d rather just to have snow.
Beth and Tina, enjoyed reading and seeing your day celebrating Lark’s birthday. I just found out recently about a spot near Lancaster PA that is on the migratory route for tundra swans, snow goose and various other birds. Bald eagles are there also. Middle Creek Wildlife Area. Not sure about camping this time of year but thinking it might be a a fun day trip. Putting it on the bucket list! Sue, love your attitude about the weather up your way! Me, not so much. I’m inclined to whine about our winter weather! I always told my DH told if we ever wanted to move this would be the time of year I could easily agree to it. The rest of the seasons I’d have a harder time leaving.
I was interested in the information on the tire monitoring systems. I never really thought to much about it but might be something to think about. Having a tire go flat after a long day of driving in my driveway probably probably isn’t going to be the norm! My question is since my tire was okay and it went flat because the inside tire with the extension on it rubbed and fell apart, do you do away with the extenders or can they stay? Hard to add air to the inside tires without extenders.
Guess I’d better goofing off here and maybe get outside and shovel some of the snow from around the gate in the driveway so I can get the snowblower out front when the time comes. Plus be Rascal’s audience while he runs around like a crazy dog. Have a good day!

Throwing a tantrum in Maryland. Wanted a small freezer for apartment so needed it to be on wheels. Freezer do not come on wheels so needed a furniture dolly. Ordered, it came minus the screws to assemble. Instructions do not state size of screws so can’t buy them. It’s too early to drink wine so here I am. *&$%#&

Shirl, your posts and your way with words never fail to make me smile and sometimes laugh. I hope you find the screws you need.

Shirl, I'm also laughing, but feel your pain also. (And probably shouldn't tell you there are small commercial freezers on casters, and not terribly priced.)

Was sleepy all day at work. Didn't sleep well last night. Laid awake with my mind racing until after 3am and then had to get up at 7am for work. Will get to bed early tonight since I am already falling asleep in the chair and it is only 7pm.

Started raining again this afternoon and will continue until late tomorrow night. It barely got out of the 40's today. It is chilly in the house tonight so I have my space heater going. My heating bill was thru the roof for January so am keeping the thermostat down and just using a space heater in which ever room I am in, as needed.

I need to find some dinner soon. My tummy is growling! :o
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
