Monday Monday so Good to me

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Monday Monday so Good to me

That song has been going through my head all morning. Now some of you can be singing, too.

Heading out to meet Eileen and Dave for lunch in a couple hours. 2nd try is the charm. Plans for the Pima Air and Space museum Wednesday. I haven't been for years and it's an awesome place.

Ty's giving me "the look" so I guess we need to go out. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Beth and all, even though it is high noon on the east coast.

Beth, Have fun with Eileen & Dave!

Friends from MD, that go to the same church I play for in MD, will pull into the park today to stay for a month. I told them I would feed them, so the beef stroganoff is in the crockpot, broccoli salad is made with extra bacon, Steve just cut up some more bacon for the potato skins which will be the appetizer and the banana cream pie is made and resting in the refrigerator. I'm beat.

Have a good day!

Good morning. I got up a little later than I planned but no rush to get to PS today.

Velda, I had a mouthguard made by my dentist many years ago and I too chewed thru it eventually. They were very expensive so I never got another one. I need to get one like you mentioned. I tend to not only grind but I chomp and I think that is what makes my teeth and jaws hurt.

Beth, have fun today!

Irmi, I love beef stroganoff!! And potato skins! Wish I was closer or I would drop in tonight!!

Off to the desert now!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Barbie, have fun today! I wish you were closer because we have way more food than just for the four of us that will be here.

Velda, one of the last times I went to see my dentist, he said his charge for a mouth/bite guard was $ 450.00. I don't think so!

Irmi, your food sounds so good. Good thing I'm not closer. lol Saturday night some of us at the campout went to a German Restaurant. The food was pretty good and I loved the red cabbage. I had never had that before. I'm going to see if I can make it. I'm not a beer drinker but I had a draft beer that was good. I could have had another one but didn't want to be carried out. I wish I had written down the name of it. I don't think we have any German Restaurants around here.

I left for Houston on Thursday. It was 79 here Wednesday but it got cold in Houston. Good thing my heavy coat was in the camper. We were at a campground in town. It was nice but I was in the row nearest the road. I was about as far from the road as my house is at home. My road at home is a dead end country road and in Houston it was a freeway. I usually run the heat strip in my air conditioner so that drowned out the traffic noise if it was on but I didn't sleep very well. We went to the RV Show on Friday and I walked until my knees hurt and I don't usually have knee problems. It was all that concrete. Good thing it was inside because it was cold. I have been going to Houston for 50 years and I-10 has always been under construction some where. I have never seen it so bad. Almost all of it is under construction.

I got everything unloaded and most of the washing done. The vet's office called me last week because Stinky is due for her shots. Most of my cats are about 10 and now they want to do a senior profile which involves drawing blood. Stinky gets so upset going to the vet she usually throws up and poops in the kenned. They had trouble getting blood last year. I'm not putting her through a senior profile again.

OMG, $450 for a mouth guard. I have been wondering if my tooth pain isn't from grinding my teeth at night since it comes and goes. I wonder if one of the sports guards from Academy would work? Would sure be a lot cheaper.

Trying to copy link I used last for my mouth guards

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A1 ... UTF8&psc=1

Martha they are inexpensive, easy to fit, and I use Efferdent tabs in a jar of water to clean every week or two. I simply rinse well daily. Under $10 for two so I have a spare always.

we are still having wind and cold ... if it weren't for the wind it would be tolerable but that wind
just cuts through a person...
I would enjoy Irmi's food as well sounded delish!
it's Monday can't say more than that the singles at my church meet on Monday's then in the evening I go to another informal meeting. other than that it was just a day sat out and visited with Alice till the wind got stronger again... and I repotted my plants only to find out that the post wasn't broken not sure why they weren't getting water but since I had it and new soil I just potted them hope they will perk up had to toss one away it was dead totally ...
filled my hummer feeders only to drop the hook and can't find it will look again tomorrow if not will have to find something to hang it up with the problem is that the shepherd's hook is thicker than the hole the one end of the hook for the feeder goes through I may have to fashion one out of wire
