Happy Rainy Sunday in AZ

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Happy Rainy Sunday in AZ

And for those who intend to watch the Super Bowl... Hope it's a good game no matter who wins.

I talked myself out of doing laundry yesterday and am, so far, doing a good job of talking myself out of it today. I really don't mind doing it so I'm not sure why. And going to the laundromat I can use a big machine to do all my quilts/comforters/bedding. I have lots of time to go later.

Meantime Ty and I are still drying off from our morning walk.

Good morning Everybody
Beth, are you still in Organ Pipe! It’s raining in Tucson as well. We are going to Nogales today and will overnight at Walmart and cross over the border in the morning. Does anybody have any information about Tioga George? He hasn’t posted for nine days and I fear for his health and safety. All you fans enjoy the game. Peggy

I leave for Organ Pipe and that area tomorrow. I'm in Tucson at the moment.

Good morning,,,,I know its afternoon but it still feels like morning. I think because of the rain. Glad I got the back yard secured for the dogs yesterday cause today its all muddy out there, except for the rock areas. Today I'm unpacking the kitchen stuff and putting my kitchen back together. Fast food is convenient but really not healthy and way expensive over time.
I have a shed on order from Amazon but no delivery date yet, although they took my money already !
Can't wait to get it though and then I can start planting stuff in the backyard. There is nothing growing back there now, so a few shrubs will be nice and of course some vegetables . :-)
I've got my sewing corner set back up, I haven't done any quilts in 6 years, but I need to do some curtains in here.
Nothing else is new, just enjoying a new sense of getting things accomplished. A new deck is on my list too.
Y'all have a great day, enjoy your super bowl. I don't care who wins, just want my numbers in the pool to be winners. I bought two squares. :-D

Afternoon here too. Again no real rain just slow steady drizzle. Temps are ok 40's. Supposed to plummet tonight but ya know I am not a real believer that it is going to snow here. What I am excited about is that IF it does snow the hills around me will be covered and I can drive up the Siskiyou pass to Callahans and get my snow fix. I do love snow it is so pretty but I love it where I can go to it. ha ha

Good day for just being a couch potato. I am doing that very well today. Tomorrow will get back to it. The dog is also a very good couch potato ha ha as long as I give her the 15 minutes of play every few hours oh yes, and a treat or two.

Our clubhouse is having a super bowl party this afternoon but I am not going up there, would rather watch from the confines of my couch or recliner.

I have a small pot roast in the Instant pot, it was frozen so am doing it for 75 minutes, then will add the potatoes, carrots, etc for another 10-15 minutes. Then that will be dinner for the next couple of days.

Being from Louisiana, I'm boycotting the Super Bowl like a lot of folks. Not that I really care about football.

I decided to take a pack of shrimp out of the freezer and fry them. I seldom fry anything and I'm already sick of fried shrimp. Guess I didn't have to fry all of them

It was very foggy this morning and has been hazy all day. Not as warm as yesterday but not bad. It looks like the fog will come back in before too long.

Peggy, I posted something similar this morning on Facebook and have gotten no responses. I would think that his friend John in the area would have checked on him as a result of not seeing posts, even if his family doesn't follow is posts. Like you I am concerned especially considering his posts regarding pain and shaking that last Friday.

AVA, sounds like you have a much bigger spot for your 5th wheel now if you have a backyard and new shed! Sounds great.

The problem with George is that he sometimes avoid doctors, plus his type of stealth camping and being in a moving van with no windows, means there are no neighbors to check on him. He does have a sister and a couple of other people he is in contact with, however, so I hope we hear from someone soon.

Supposed to get colder here for the next few days and rainy, but my propane seems to be holding out, so I am hoping I can wait a few days to refill. Wish all the sensors in these RVs that are supposed to monitor those things would be more accurate!! Today was sunny, so I have been able to manage with two electric heaters and will just need furnaces for tonight. Been busy with my class, so stuff to do, but am renting another car for three days this week because I have a follow-up urology appointment, physical therapy, and another blood draw, all on different days. I also really need to get a mammogram, so instead of waiting until i get to Ohio, i may stop by the women's medical center next to my other doctor's office. I am really overdue and feeling guilty about it.

we had rain last night today was so clear and sunny so glad right now the generator isn't working right not putting out enough juice to refill the batteries so trying not to use to much electricity got lazy last night and realized about 10 I hadn't even opened the computer about then the sensor I guess is a good word started going from green to yellow so went to lanterns it was so cloudy yesterday that guess they didn't charge up well. we will hope it's not the case tonight.
don't normally get on the bank site on Sunday but since I didn't last night thought I would and for some reason it didn't recognize my password and after numerable times of trying told me to redo the password...I hate doing that they tell you to find something that you will remember then mess with it...oh well will do that tomorrow...
Tina was in Brenda today but was busy enough with church and a social that I didn't make it to see her ..if she was going to be there a bit longer would go over...guess she came by but while I was gone. enjoy your travels back to Ohio Tina...
was so going to say something else but guess it is gone

It is so late, I should almost start tomorrows MC!

Yesterday we got storm #2 and was that a heavy one! :o The creek came up about 2 feet higher than it was the other day. But this time it was full of a lot of debris. I think there were some homeless camps that got washed out.

I went to our monthly community dinner last night. Didn't think it would be too crowded with the rain still coming down hard, but it was a pretty good turn out anyways. Had meatloaf, rice, and veggies and dessert for $7. Met a few new neighbors too. Found out there will be some condos built down the street here. Lots of neighbors went to a meeting to complain about it but I guess it is gonna happen anyways. Big mess and noise while that is being built, plus a ton more traffic on our already overcrowded street once people move in there.

Ava, where is the park you are at now? The only thing growing in my backyard are weeds, lots and lots of them! They will be 3 feet high by the time all these storm systems finally pass thru here! Two more coming starting tomorrow! Cold enough for snow in the local mountains here.

I had the Super Bowl on but wasn't paying too much attention after awhile. The game was boring, the commercials were boring...wasn't too impressed with the halftime show either.

Off to bed now...goodnight! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
