Sunny Thursday!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunny Thursday!

Good morning (or afternoon) gals!

Warm, calm and beautiful here in SoCal. High of 70 today. :D

I spent most of yesterday cleaning, organizing, rearranging, etc, my den and living room. Looks so much better! Today I need to pay some bills and clean up the porch a little. Then off to work later.

Have a good day!

Hi Barbie!

Your weather sounds so nice! I hope your roommates visitor enjoys her stay. I love the pictures you posted that you took in the Q! Quite impressive!

It's been quite windy here today. In fact, it's been windy for the better part of the week. We'll get down into the high 30's tonight and will be around there every night for the next week. It's been another cold winter in Ocala, but it's still better than at our home in MD.

The cortisone shot has finally kicked in and after three weeks, I woke up totally pain free. Yay! It feels so good to feel good.

Hope those in the Q are still having fun!

Sunny here, also, which is very unusual. Still cold, however. Wishing spring were here!!

Had a couple of friends from my high school class stop by and take me out for lunch, which was really nice. I very seldom go out to eat, but I get bored with my own cooking, so I need to remember to stop and pick up takeout meals more often.

Tomorrow is supposed to be partly sunny also and dry, so it will be laundry day! Got the usual three loads to get done. Other than that, not much going on except keep up with the class I teach online.

Good evening. Sun and clouds here today. Kind of chilly out but at least no wind. Had lunch with Malia today then we stopped at the store so she could load up some food for the weekend. Came home and took the dog for a long walk, by the time I got home I needed to part with my sweatshirt for sure. No rain in sight here for the next week.

YAY Irmi, so good to hear your shot is finally working.

Judy, be careful what you wish for.................Spring is very wet up where you are in the valley, normally. But who knows anymore.

No cleaning today, I had good intentions but offer of lunch out won me over (instantly).

Will get back to the cleaning tomorrow. I did sort out all the instruction manuals I had tucked away since most likely the first things I ever bought LOL dumped them in the trash and kept the ones I thought I needed, that freed up quite a bit of space in my file drawer.

My roommates friend is coming tomorrow I guess. I thought it was today. But this morning she got a call from her daughter who is married to an abusive drug addict. He was threatening to kill her and she wants to leave. However, she has 7 young kids, so that isn't so easy. Denise started calling around to shelters to see where her daughter could go with the kids. Most places have a waiting list of several months! Her daughter also has borderline personality disorder so that isn't helping any. I had to leave for work so not sure how it all ended up but she was going to try to leave tonight after her husband left for work. Denise went up to help her. I am glad I have a fairly easy life!

I have had a headache all day so I think I will go to bed early tonight. Have to open up the shop in the morning.
