Snowy Wednesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Snowy Wednesday

Still morning here at the 45th,but not for long. Snowy day out there. Winter Storm Warning till 7 p.m. but there is no wind, so that’s not an issue. Started snowing yesterday afternoon and supposed to have 6-9 inches by tonight. Normal type snowfall in these parts. Schools didn’t even close in this area. This is first good snow since the New Years Eve storm which was a mess of snow/freezing rain/rain. Guess I will be out blowing snow tomorrow. Hope I remember how to use the blower   Hasn’t seen much use this winter so far.

Martha, sounds like you have some gremlins having fun at your place. Seems like troubles come in bunches and then nothing. Barbie, you aren’t the only one losing lists. I make sure m and forget to even take sometimes

House is cleaned, lunch about ready, cooking hot dogs, and then will head to basement and continue organizing and putting stuff away. Project is all but done, just need to paint table and floor. Right now am moving stuff in that I want to store in there.

Lunch time! Keep having a great time in Q.

Sue it's later here, but still, barely, morning. Ty and I had a good walk. We came back and said hi to Lyn. Then watched Tina working with Audrey for a bit.

Yesterday I spent the day with two couples who worked in Keystone. One with me, another for other business owned by the same people. Rich and Marni drove about 4 hours to spend the day. And I put him to work. My should have been simple to change CO2/lp detector that I mentioned before is now changed. Good thing we tried to do it before going running around as it didn't include the electrical connections to hold the wires... And the ones on it needed to be cut off. After running around we remembered to find the hardware store. At 15 cents each they were almost a steal. And next time I can remove them and reuse them. Much more sensible.

Sunny today and much less windy. We're headed back to beautiful weather. Yay.

Good morning gals!

I took my car in yesterday to get washed. Mostly only hand car washes out here (haven't seen a drive-thru one yet). Takes about 45 minutes but they wash and wipe every square inch inside and out, very thorough! I used my last free carwash coupon but I always give them a good tip. They earn it! My Jeep looks brand new when it is clean. :D

Then went to O'Reilly Auto and got replacement wiper blades for the front passenger side and the back window. Just need to get the Jeep in for an oil change and check up soon! Gotta wait for payday tho.

Today is cleaning day. My roommate has a friend coming in town tomorrow to visit so I need to get it looking nice in here. Mostly just my den area and the porch that needs work. If I get done at a reasonable time, I will frost my hair later.

Hope you have a great day! Sounds like the Q gals are keeping busy!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Well, I blew out the snow this afternoon. Stopped snowing, was in upper 20’s, time for some fresh air. Had a small snack and took the dogs for a short walk. They were out the whole hour and a half I was doing snow and than another half hour walking. It is very quiet in here right now  zzzzzzzzzz.

Beth, glad you got that CO detector changed. No worries now. Nice for your co-workers to drive all that way to see you. Velda, glad to hear things are moving along slow but sure. And a trip being planned for summer, how great is that. You will do fine.

Pot of chili simmering on the stove for supper. Smells good. Half of a pork loin thawing in fridge for this weekend as it will take that long to thaw. Eating some stuff from the freezer that has been in there a while. Got to turn the stock over periodically, although I pretty much eat and replenish stuff on a regular basis. Just a bottom freezer in my fridge, so not a huge pile of frozen stuff there. I really miss my top freezer fridge in my old house. This one came with the house and the ice maker takes up half the upper freezer drawer, so restricts how much I can put up there. Plus way bigger fridge than I really need. It will disappear someday :)
