Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Frigid Tuesday

Morning All. Maryland has been in a deep freeze. Getting nervous about strange weather as moving day approaches. Just wanted to say hi. If I stay long I start whining. :D Safe travels.

Just extra windy and gusty out here in Quartzsite. It brings the temperatures down a bit but with the sun shining and a good jacket to break the wind I'll take it over what you guys have. I know that Ohio isn't fairing very well either. The dogs at least continue to get walked out here!

I am heading into town to keep with Solar Bill to see if I can get a health check up on my solar system. It is working but I thinking something isn't quite up to speed and it is beyond my knowledge level to know. With all the bouncing around these units do going down the road it is a wonder that anything stays attached.

Stay warm, stay healthy or continue healing in some cases! Yes, I have pictures of our Oatman trip yesterday but I think I am heading into town to get my name on a repair list before trying to put a blog together.

PS: Shiela is now in possession of both tins of Martha's famous cookies along with some quart sized storage bags. Next time we have a pot lock of on Thursday for Indian Tacos, everyone can take a few home with them so we can split the sweet temptations among us all!

My friends from California are due here in half an hour... We'll meet other friends (Tina and Lyn met this couple) at Silly Al's for lunch, then Marni, Rich and I will go over to the big tent. I'm glad Marni and Rich came via car... Their big 5th wheel wouldn't appreciate this wind.

The sun feels wonderful when the wind is blocked lol... And tomorrow I believe the wind goes away. But, yes, like Tina I'll take this over what many of you are experiencing.

And Shirl, it's afternoon there now... Come on back and have some dinner with your wine. :D

I'll whine for you Shirl. lol

I haven't been dressed for 30 minutes and already spilled coffee on my shirt. I need to get gathered up and go to town because it's suppose to get cold and rain tomorrow. It only got down to 51 last night and will probably be in the 70's today. The wind and humidity are back. My hair is a fright. If I try to fix it, as soon as I step outside it's a mess again.

The guy that comes to ride loaded up the mower to take it to the shop for me. Of corse the trailer needs new wheels. Everything is falling apart. The truck has a safety recall and needs to go to the Dodge dealer. Harold bought the truck from a dealer 60 miles from here and we didn't have a Dodge dealer for a long time. He fell out with the Dodge dealer years ago and I don't know who is running the new one. He had a habit of getting mad at places so we couldn't use the Chevrolet dealer or the Ford dealer either.

It's a beautiful sunny day in Northern California with a few stray clouds passing through. Should be in 60's later. Had a check with Dr (nothing new,he says keep up what you are doing). Now to convince Chris to get up so we can take recyclables to get rid of, including a stack of flattened boxes. I found the top of Mel's desk last week and had city pick up a bunch of old TVs, printers, and computers. Every thing that leaves makes me feel better. But it's slow going. I have a friend coming Thursday to help work on my van. Have a leak around some roof penetration I need to find and seal. I have reservations for June in Oregon with the west Coast Sisterhood group for my first distant RV trip solo. Looking forward to that with both anticipation and a touch of apprehension. Have a good afternoon everyone whether hunkered down inside or enjoying AZ or wherever.

Martha, sorry you are having a bad start to your day. :(

I slept in late this morning and then got some on-line stuff taken care of for work (new payroll stuff).

It is cool and windy here today but the sun is out. Still way better than what most of you are dealing with!

Am headed to the bank and Walmart and maybe a car wash to get the mud off from Q. Then I have a couple cleaning/sorting projects to do at home for the rest of the day.

We need more pics from Q with the new arrivals there!

Velda, glad you are making plans to venture out! It will be much easier once you get the first trip out of the way. You will have a great time!

Here is a video of the King tide along the beaches down here. Very impressive! http://kfmb.videodownload.worldnow.com/ ... 1246AC.mp4

Beth, just got home from working at the apartment. My left foot is giving me a fit so trying to decide whether I want Advil or a glass of wine with dinner. Can’t do both, decisions, decisions.

Funny thing...I had a dream last night that I had a list of some sort and I lost it. Looked everywhere frantically trying to find it. Then today I go to WM with a list of things to get. Wouldn't you know, I got inside and couldn't find the dang list! I had it in my back pocket but wasn't there. I figured it fell out so I retraced my steps thru the store and out in the parking lot and finally to my car. After some searching, I found it in a place I do not remember putting it (since I thought I had it kept it in my pocket!). Never did find the list in my dream tho!
