Malia's Book

Postby OregonLuvr » Sat Jan 05, 2019 9:06 pm

As many of you know my friend Malia Lane is dying of stage 4 lung cancer. Her time is coming closer to the end of her journey and her biggest wish was that her book would be published. She finished it a few days ago and a couple of her followers came to her aid in getting it proofed and published. She is beyond excited and I am so happy for her. It went on sale today, the kindle version. The hard copy will be finished in possibly a couple of weeks.

This is her latest blog.

I could have read the book free with Prime, but elected to buy it. Proceeds will go to keep her writings, etc online after she's gone.

Yes me too but it is certainly reasonable to buy anyway. I will also get the hard copy as I want her to sign it. I think we are getting together this week for a celebration LOL

She is a brave woman and a real inspiration.

I have loved following her for however long it's been I truly don't recall when or how I found her..
will look forward to getting the book.
has I have watched her journey this past year I marvel at how she appears to be so accepting
and graceful in this part of her journey on this earth.

Thanks for letting us know. I hope she is comfortable in her last days and also that her blog stays up and running.

I will buy the Kindle version.

Yes, she is a great inspiration. I didn’t know she had a book coming out. Please keep us informed when the hard copy comes out as I too will buy one.

I, too, think I will wait for the hard copy. I would like to have it on my shelf, rather than just on my computer.

Please let us know, Karen.

Thanks.

The paperback edition is available! From Malia:

I'm just waking up now, but when I went to sleep last night, the dream of my book being in paperback was still just a dream. This morning, it is reality! I'm getting used to yet more new pain meds, so my head is a bit fuzzy, but I'm still here to testify that dreams do come true, y'all!

Larry Judson Butler and Jaimie Hall Bruzenak - this dream of mine would not be real without your being willing to be my angel assistance! How can I ever thank you enough?!

My author's proof copy is on its way to me, so I haven't seen it yet. But you can bet my palms are itchy to hold it in my hot little hands!

I ordered my copy this morning. I knew it was coming out today. Very excited for Malia. I can almost hear the shouts and dancing from her RV LOL
