Sunday morning!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunday morning!

Probably not morning for many of you now.

I slept in but I went to bed late last night. It rained all night here. The sun is trying hard to come out now. Yesterday was so dark and gloomy with showers off and on all day. I got nothing done.

My sinuses feel a bit better today. Must have gotten most of the infected stuff out yesterday. My ears are still a bit plugged up tho. They don't hurt at all so I know I don't have an ear infection so that is good.

I need to get my Jeep in this week for an oil change and get checked over before I head out to Q. I will be there from the 15th to the 17th.

My betta fish seems to like his new bigger tank, altho sometimes he gets sucked against the filter piece! :o I have to turn off the filter to release him! I am thinking of adding a few compatible fish to keep him company and make the tank more colorful and interesting.

I checked my live mouse trap last night and it was closed so I carefully opened it to see if there was anything inside (sometimes it closes by itself - it is cheap!) and didn't see anything so I went to put it back down and saw a small flash of fur come flying out and ran behind the fridge! He must have been down at the very end of it when I looked and I didn't see him. He also must have been in there for awhile since there were a lot of mouse droppings inside! Poor thing, but he ate all the peanut butter in there. I set it again but not sure if he will be willing to try it again!

My neighbor who went to the hospital last month won't be coming home. He is now in a nursing facility. I imagine his daughters will be selling his house soon. We rent his second driveway for my roommate to park in. I doubt new owners would be willing to let us do that, but will see what happens.

Off to work in awhile so I should probably get something done before then.

Mornin' Barbie & all that follow~~~

Barbie, I won't get to meet you in Q. I'll be there the following week. When I had a fresh water tank with a beta, I had zebras, tetras, kissing fish (forgot the real family) placastamus and a few others. Any good pet store can tell you what can work with beta, but obviously not another beta. They are fighting fish you know ;)

Sitting at the gas station across from one of my favorite AZ state parks, Picacho Peak. Great views and good for some great sunsets. A good 1/2 hour away from shopping, but dont think I need anything, but you never know. I was able to change the appointment for getting a bed cover on the truck from tomorrow to yesterday, so I won't need to head back into Tucson.

Have a good day ladies and stay safe wherever you are.

Yeah, bettas don't like each other. I was going to put a divider in the tank and put another beta in the other side but the filter is on one side of the tank and I don't think it would filter the other side very well with the divider in it. I am thinking about neon tetras or harlequin rasboras.

Tina got here Friday with sunshine and good temperatures. The weather was so nice yesterday and today. Yesterday we went to Lafayette and met Carolyn and another RV friend for lunch. Tina left this morning headed West. So nice to GTG with our RV friends.

Not much going on here today. I am trying to get rid of New Years leftovers so had a late breakfast of chicken and dressing. I finally got the RV shade that needs to be restrung down and now I don't know what I did with the kit. I think it made it out of the car but don't know what I did with it.

I didn't sleep well last night. Of course I wanted to get an early start today. I went back to bed for an hour... Start delayed. No biggie. Ty and I are back in Benson but probably will head out on Thursday. I'm going to try to get a couple appts for Thursday and Friday ... I'm getting the rv tires checked and will probably replace them. They'll be 5 years old in March. And I'm going to try to see my audiologist. Phone calls tomorrow.

I'm going to try to get to bed early tonight. Ha!
