New Years Eve

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

New Years Eve

Postby BirdbyBird » Mon Dec 31, 2018 9:07 am

Have a safe and thoughtful New Years Eve and be gentle on yourself in all things. May your new year bring you wonderful opportunities and potential. As usual most of are best able to find what we are set to look for in life. It definitely helps to set our expectations!

We have made it to the Escapee's Rainbow Plantation RV park in Alabama yesterday and will stay here through tomorrow to keep the rig off the roads today. The Honda on the other hand may make its to the coast for a brief tour.

Thank you Sheila for working on those temperature out there in Q for all of us!

Audrey and Lark are now waiting not so happily for there morning walk around the park. So here we go.

Here also is a morning toast to folks remembering Rabbits much later tonight and to the check in tomorrow!

Good morning Tina and all who follow!

Cool and cloudy here this morning. Was supposed to rain overnight but I don't think it did. Highs this week are around 60 with lows around 40. Am also hoping Q is warmer when I get there!

I feel a little better this morning. I dug out my humidifier last night and ran that all night. I think it helped some.

Have a small list of things to do today but mostly relax.

Don't forget to say "RABBITS" tonight or first thing tomorrow. We can all use more luck this coming year!

Have a great New Years Eve!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Hi ladies~~~
Lynn, I'm currently just east of Bisbee. It's been cold here too and snowy. Another 24 hours of this weather expected, then it should warm back up typ the 50s or 60s by Thursday thru the weekend.

More than likely, i'll forget Rabbits as usual. Have a happy and safe a New Year everyone.

I'll be awake, most likely, at midnight. Hopefully I'll think of rabbits. Lyn, I'm near Las Cruces, NM... Cold here but sunny today. If I talk myself out of bed in time, Ty and I will do the 1st hike tomorrow. It's not critical because I'll bet it's going pretty much the way I hiked yesterday and, depending on the wind this afternoon, might repeat today.

Barbie, I'm hoping the cold will get out of here, at least the extremes, before Q. But our lies will still probably get down there.

I always get a chuckle out of automatic spell check or something that decides to change what we wrote... and most of the time can figure out what was being said that said Beth check out your last sentence tell me what you meant to say

a quite night at home... just me and Shadow...and he is a party poop sleeping and it's not even 8
it is so cold here but it's suppose to warm up later in the week even at night so here is hoping ... can't look yet and see what is predicted for the gtg... almost afraid to...
went to walmart today it was worse than Christmas eve day way worse...but got in and got out without blood shed...
here is to remembering to say Rabbit's!!! can use the luck for sure. always disconcerting when Shadow starts barking and seemingly no reason to be doing so as in right now ...I think he wants to go upstairs but the light is out not sure why he wants to go up there but is what I am thinking
you all have a very safe and Happy New Year

Sheila, I believe Beth meant "lows" rather than "lies. Lol!

I got a few things done today. Had to go out and get cat food since I was all out and, like I say, "if the cats ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!" I was across the street from WM but decided I didn't feel good enough to go there and fight crowds. My bike will be arriving in a few days (hopefully!) so will have to go there for that.

I went to change the water in my betta fishy's little bowl and decided it was a good time to finally set up the big 5.5 gallon aquarium I bought a few months ago. So now that is all set up and he is getting used to his new digs! I might add some compatible fish in there for him. Maybe some neon tetras.

Tomorrow I will get up in the morning and watch the Rose Parade. I never ever miss that. :D I love watching the beautiful floats!

It's a quiet night for me and the cats. I made them come in early in case the neighbors decide to shoot off fireworks. CC and I watched them out the window for Christmas. I'm watching Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper in Times Square. I don't know why they started so early. I will have had enough of them by New Years.

Sheila, I hate auto-correct. If you don't reread what you type there's no telling what comes out. I don't like when it argues with me. lol

This weather is just yucky. It was in the 60's yesterday and it actually warmed up during the night to 75. There was a South wind off the gulf that brought us more moisture. I think the rain has finally passed us but it's just so humid.

I forgot to get some cabbage for tomorrow so had to go to town. Walmart was completely out of cabbage so had to go to another store. I don't remember why we have to eat cabbage but always have cabbage and black eyed peas for New Years. I never heard from my son so that may be all I cook. I finally got through the food from Christmas.

Everyone have a Happy New Years Eve!

Haha, yes I meant lows. I had to read it twice to figure it out... Then I saw Barbie had it already.

Ty made sure we played with all his toys tonight (he skipped only one... Which he doesn't favor). One after the other. It was so cute and funny. For the past hour he's been sleeping soundly against my leg... Which is asleep.

awhile back on FB I was trying to give the name of a brand of yarn do you think it would allow it no matter how many times I retyped the name it changed it each and every time.. my theory if you retype it twice let it ago assume that Coran is actually what the writer actually wanted to say...I truly couldn't figure it out thanks Barbie and Beth
did say Rabbits this AM right after midnight then Happy New Year in case the ghost dd says is there was listening... I don't think she is serious but she says that Shadow must sense one...
DD called the other day and said the "old man" visited me... I said he did cool explain sorta she said she pulled up at Starbucks to go in for coffee and there was an Iowa car parked so then she comes out and turns on the music she had going either she pushed shuffle or somehow it went to shuffle but the song that was playing was a Ray Steven's song...yep had to agree "the old man" payed her a visit almost jealous.
it was a quite day still in PJ's and the only thing I've done is put gas in genny and fed the finches... did one row on the afghan I set aside for what ever reason.... it's the border and is dark so tell my self I need natural light so I can see each of the stitches all 285 of them...
looked at a book at Wal Mart the other day then again the next trip but talked myself out of it don't normally pay 15 for a book... found it at the RV Park Library so took it and will return it when I finish it which will be tonight or tomorrow...
you all have a Happy New Years
