fitbit?

I am interested in getting a fitbit but know nothing much about them. I don't want to spend a lot on one and don't need a lot of bells and whistles. Any information and suggestions?
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

I liked my Fitbit One and wore it I think six years until the rechargeable battery would no longer charge. A year ago I got Charge 2, which I chose over the fancier models but it's been superseded by the Charge 3. I think there are still, lesser models but I got this because I wanted pulse rate for my curves class. The lower models dont read pulse but are fine for steps and distance. I've been a happy user but I've known others who tend to beat them up and they quit. Check models for splash resistance since you are in water some washing hair for people. Mine downloads wirelessly to my phone and I look at my progress on phone for the week and for the day on the fitbit. I was quite disappointed that the beautiful bands Mel bought me will not work even on Charge 3 as they made clips different. I had planned to upgrade to next model in a year but now will keep this until it wears out as I have sentimental attachment to it and the bands. Their website fitbit.com is very good about showing in chart features so you can compare.

Barbie, I have had the Fitbit Zip for years. It only tracks steps nothing else. I think they have discontinued it but you can still find online. You can see a picture here.

I have the Garmin Vivofit 2 Activity. I chose the Garmin because it has a battery that lasts a long time and doesn't have to be recharged. I liked the first one I had better but of course they have to keep changing things. I don't really know all the things it will do because about all I look at are the steps. I haven't looked at the sleep tracker in a long time.

I see Mitch and some talking about what ever they have on Facebook.
