Good to see you here, Donna. Sorry about the health issues.

Ty and I are sitting in front of the library where I can use the wifi. Poor Ty is crying because there's a small adorable local dog walking around loose. Two children who just came by told me he's cared for and loved.

Tomorrow Peggy is driving down and I'll meet another friend of hers for lunch. Back walking ... Will trey to check in every day, but who knows lol

Good Morning (barely). Laundry day here and some vacuuming, exciting isnt it?? We are having some weird weather. Was 51 when I got up and now 58 declining thru the day to 35°, was sunny but now clouding up with rain expected. We are also under a high wind advisory. Winds south in Yreka and Weed 40mph with gusts up to 50 or so. I am not going anywhere today. I hate windy weather. Rain is okay as long as no wind.

Good to see you Beth that you have arrived at your destination LOL Have fun.

Afternoon All, Foggy day here and rain moving in. Flash flood warnings so guess it will be a gully washer. Made a pot of chicken noodle soup so will just stay home this weekend, wrap last few presents and make a few lists. Water test finally passed so one less concern. Safe travels

Good to see you post, Donna. I like to see the pictures of your retirement community on Facebook. It's looks like you all stay busy. You and Liz have found good places to live.

I'm not getting much done today. It's about 20 degrees colder than yesterday and very windy. It would help if the sun would come out. I started the Roomba and forgot about it. When I went looking for him he had put himself up. Last night I found an old candle and lit it so I could use the wax to make fire starters. I put toilet paper cardboard rolls in the utility room and fill them with dryer lint. Then I put candle wax on the ends to keep them from falling apart.

Two of the outside cats and two of the inside cats don't like Frosty. I don't know why they are so mean to him, he minds his own business. I think the New Orleans cat hates him because he gets to come inside. I was letting Mr P come in until he peed in the floor. That will get them kicked out in a hurry. I'm glad Sweetie Pie took to the litter box so she could stay in the house and not be caged. She has to go for an X-ray on Monday to see if her leg has healed.

today was game day two afternoons during the week we play games from 1 until around 5 sometimes later..depending upon the length of the last game sometimes it takes longer than planned. On Fridays we generally had food to the mix today since Kerry will be going North for the holidays we had our Christmas dinner so ham baked potatoes veggies salad apple crisp which also made the day longer... but it is a good time came home tired helped with dishes and had made the crisp also went in earlier to cook the ham and potatoes but she had already started the meat one of those heat and serve so unfortunately was over cooked but oh well now I am watching hallmark usually watch Hawaii 5 O and Blue Bloods but it wasn't on so thought Christmas music would be good..
Pat what is that dish that you gave a double yum? Think Vickie was making it mentioned it on FB but no idea what it is

Worked this morning and early afternoon. Another busy day. Had a little tickle in my throat and by the time I got home, I had a splitting headache, ears ringing, feeling chilled and just crappy all over. I hope whatever this is, it goes away quickly. I just had a big bowl of chicken noodle soup and plan to go to bed as soon as 8pm comes around. Will take a ZiCam too. I did have a flu shot a couple weeks ago for whatever that is worth.

Cold (relatively) and cloudy here today. Supposed to warm up tomorrow to the low 70's. I have the day off.

Have a good night!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
