Foggy Thursdsy

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Morning all. Good morning for coffee as it’s a bit foggy, damp and drizzly out there. Good day to be inside. And since the remodeling of my little basement craft/workshop room is turning into a major project, itwill keep me busy. Discovered that the two work benches I want to combine were mounted to the walls for life, so a lot of disassembling and reassembling going on. Also need to do some drywall repair now. Am I having fun? Yes, actually I am. Challenge to the body and my brain both. Keeping my mind off baking those Christmas butter cookies   Actually with the physical work needed to do that project, I’ll work em off, if I ever bake em

Tina, good luck this week. Anne, you and I would make a good pair as I love to walk everyday too. The dogs and I are doing between 2-3 miles a day. Yesterday though was a shorter one. I lost one of my traction devices off my boot, so going to have to get another set. There are pretty much a necessity this time of year, especially with our weather of late.

Time to get a move on here. Hope you all have a nice day :)

Good morning Everybody. Had a nice meet up lunch with Sharon and Beth at a local Mexican restaurant. The food was delicious, but no photos were taken. Too busy talking. Deming seems to be a good stopping place on I-10. I first met Sharon when we both stopped to spend a day or two with Lori and Doc lo those many years ago. Taking the time to stop and meet a Forum sister makes our group stronger. Enjoy today. Peggy

Good morning. Sue, wish I had your energy! It’s wintertime and I tend to be a slug! And the lack of sun sure doesn’t help. I got up this morning to a skiff of snow on the car but so far that’s about it. But my new snowblower finally made it home last week end so I’m ready for whatever comes our way! Temps are supposed to be in the 40’s the next several days with rain and nighttime snow when the temps go down. Tina, sounds like you are having a good time at the dog show. Go Josef!
And lots of gtg’s out west. Always fun!
Been interesting reading about Christmas memories. I have gotten to the point that I don’t decorate anymore. Kinda passed the torch to the kids. Now that the grandkids are older they have their own agendas and trying to get everyone together is almost impossible plus the have their own routines. Not to mention work schedules!
So that’s about it for me. Really nothing new or exciting! And it’s time to get busy and get some housework done. Have a wonderful day and if you are on the road, be safe.

I'm getting ready to make my 30-35 mile drive back south to Columbus for 5 or 6 nights. No clue whether my phone will stay with a U.S. signal or not. That will determine whether you see me or not :) It was great seeing Peggy and then Sharon also yesterday. And Peggy is hoping to come down to Columbus for a day while I'm there.

It started raining sometime during the night and the rain gauge has 2 1/2 inches in it. Is it ever going to dry up here. I think all the rain has passed us and it's up to 75. Is this December or what. lol

I went to Lafayette again yesterday and picked up a rv shade repair kit. The string broke on one of my shades. Has anyone ever done that? I have heard it's hard to do. I had to get another eggnog. They must have a special everyday. Sometimes it's 2 for the price of one. Yesterday it was a large for the price of a medium. I drank part of it and am using the rest as coffee creamer. I should get my fill of eggnog by New Years.

We had a good turnout for the Christmas dinner last night. I had 2 glasses of wine. When I got home one of the cats was in my chair so instead of making her move I laid down on the bed. I woke up about 1:00 and couldn't go back to sleep until 4:00. I hate when that happens.

I haven't walked Hank yet and it's almost 4:00. Better get going before the temperature starts dropping. Glad Beth, Peggy and Sharron got to meet up again.
