Chilly Tuesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Chilly Tuesday

Good morning gals :D

I have the day off today. Started doing some organizing, cleaning and X-Mas decorating yesterday and I need to continue that today. My left shoulder is hurting today so need to be careful with that, so not to make it worse.

No news yet on my neighbor but did see a car at his place yesterday possibly picking up some personal items for him. I hope this time they send him to a transitional care facility until he is well. He should not have been sent home so soon the last time.

It is getting pretty chilly at night here now. But warms up pretty quickly once the sun comes out.

Have a good day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Hip, hip, hooray! Going in for blood tests today, and then tomorrow I get my stent out. This is important because it is an irritant and bleeding, even if slight, will clear up once it is out. And, would you believe it, the urologist is next to the local AAA office which has four big RV parking spots behind it!!! So I will park there and just walk over to the urologist office.

And it is actually sunny today, which is not often here in Oregon this time of year. So, I have to get some papers graded and then am heading out to get the blood tests so the doctor will have them tomorrow when I see him about the stent. Then will stop at Walmart for some groceries. Want to do some cooking and baking this coming week since I will have some free time. Want to make either a lemon or almost pound cake, which I have wanted to do for a long time.

Also want to get some Christmas decorations--maybe a red, lit-up bow?? I bought a yard sign but I have not the slightest idea where I put it, so while I am in a nice, dry parking lot, I will look for it. Got to get better at not tucking things away in hidden places.

It's cool here today and I think it's suppose to get down to 35 tonight. Then it will start warming up a little and RAIN!

I thought I got everything taken care of yesterday and I wouldn't have to go to town today. Wrong! I found Gypsy, one of the outside cats, with a swollen eye so took her to the vet. She has a spot on her eye. I guess one of the other cats scratched her. They are always slapping each other. I have some ointment to put in her eye 4 times a day. That should be fun. Try to hold her, open her eye and put medicine.

I listed my 2002 Coach House in the Trading Post.

Do the old "wrap her in a towel" and get someone to help.

My son's young male cat is constantly getting himself into trouble--he is not only dumb when it comes to what other cats he hangs around with, but he is klutzy. Has fallen out of a tree more than once and also fell into their pool twice. Had a really bad eyeball cut when he was a half-grown kitten.
