Going roaming!

Postby Queen » Tue Nov 27, 2018 1:06 pm

Sooo, depending on Christmas plans with the niece we’ll be loading up and heading west either sooner (before Christmas) or later (right after Christmas), FINALLY!!!! Since we’re RV-less we’re just loading up the minivan and going wandering. We’ll do hotels, camping cabins, some sleeping in the van... no real destination in mind other than to go west and see some sunshine! Hope we get a chance to meet up with some of you out there.

Hey Gals! We figure NM to begin, if we’re having fun we might head over to Quartzite and say hello, I know a couple of groups that will be there. It would be so fun to finally meet some of you!!

Shhhh! Quartzite has a lot of RV dealers, by the way. In fact, an incredible number, considering the size of the town.

So many choices and so many individuals willing to wander around looking at rigs with you! Multiple eyes and backgrounds are really helpful to notice details and positive and negative features that are over whelming to take in all at once as one walks through any kind of unit. Well we notice features and then the other individual has to balance if they are positive, negative or neutral.... It is always fun to dream. My best feaaling is when I can walk away and think, I'm still okay with what I have!

Mickie, looking also is also great for better understanding what you don't want and gaining confidence and peace from previous decisions made. I have never had the luxury of the crystal ball of certainty on many of my life's decision but I try to think through them, inform them as thoroughly as I am able.

I am trying to remember where you live. I think it is around Chicago, right? Or is it Minnesota?

If Chicago, one of the great drives in the US is the Natchez Trace. It is 444 miles of historic parkway from Nashville to Vicksburg, MS. Mostly it goes from northeast to south west and is a very pleasant way to head south. No stop lights for 44 miles! And you can get on and off to find restaurants and hotels very easily. Also two free campgrounds along the way.
