Lyn, I love Christmas, too. But can we wait for Thanksgiving?

I agree with Irmi. I was avoiding Hallmark movies because they all were Christmas the past couple weeks. I broke down last night and now today... Just a couple more days and Christmas works. :)

I noticed that they are already showing Christmas movies on the Hallmark channel. My sister wants to watch the baking shows or the Hallmark moves when we camp. I told her last year that I was going to throw up if I had to watch another Hallmark movie. I would sure block that channel if I could.

Our Christmas campout is the weekend of November 29-December 2. It's a little early this year but we have to schedule it when we can have the meeting room at the campground. Everyone decorates their camper and I manage to drag a few things out.

There was a lot of Christmas stuff in Natchitoches but I managed to resist. There were some pretty wreaths but they where too big.

SAMs Club started putting out Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas items day before Labor Day!
I turned the lights on for my outdoor wreath today. Will put a small home made Christmas tree in window sometime after daylight. (Its 2:00 AM now - can't sleep but heading to bed. Doubt there is anything on TV this time of night.

Hobby Lobby started putting out Christmas stuff in July. Geez. Any of you who watch the Hallmark Christmas movies, be sure to watch “Christmas in Evergreen”. It really is a neat movie.

I actually can understand the craft stores having Christmas stuff out that early because for
some it can take a while to make something and need those items early on... it's the displays and decor in the big businesses as well as decorations that bug me... but then again if "we" didn't buy that early they wouldn't put them out... my lack of buying stuff this early doesn't change things but the overall purchasing of most people does.. either that or it's a place to store the stuff if it sells great
