Happy Thanksgiving from Northern Michigan.

Just sitting here relaxing for awhile. Will be heading south about 30 miles later on, to have dinner with friends. Pumpkin pie is out of the oven and jello salad is made. Martha, you aren’t the only one who likes lime jello salad. It’s been a staple at our holiday table ever since I was young. Lime jello with crushed pineapple, cottage cheese, chopped celery and walnuts, topped with cream cheese mixed with mayo and lemon juice. Friends husband loved it so much, I always left the leftover with them. She said he would eat it, breakfast, lunch and dinner

Have a wonderful veryone, whether you are alone, with family or friends and remember to pause and give thanks for blessings you have received whether they be big or small.

Happy Thanksgiving Everybody from Peggy not in CT now. I left home over a week ago and dodged ice storms across PA, Ohio and Kentucky, and arrived safely in Deming, NM on Tuesday. Will share Thanksgiving with 61 other solo rvers at the LowHi Ranch. My plan is to stay around the Southwest and meet up with Sheila and everybody else in Q in Jan. and then go to Kino Bay Mexico until Easter, when the Mexicans reclaim their beach.
I have much to be thankful for especially for all my rving friends. Peggy

Happy Thanksgiving from me, too.

I have three turkey thighs baking and will make some stuffing from a mix later today. Not much else going on today, other than some good TV. And a LOT of rain! Might not even take my trash out today, although it is supposed to rain all day tomorrow also.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Son, DIL and grand daughter are coming for Thanksgiving evening dinner. Everything is cooked and ready except have to cook the potatoes and make the gravy. I am taking a break now and knitting mittens. My first try at making mittens on 4 double pointed needles. Have made hats with those but making mittens and learning about gussets is a new learning curve. I know if I doze off they will pull in the driveway and I will get all befuddled so I think I will turn on some Christmas music. I love to hear the carols sung in German.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Fixed the full spread here for my CA kids. Everything turned out really good - even though I overestimated the cooking time for the turkey & it didn't help that I accidentally set the oven a little higher than planned so it was done at 7:30 this morning. Oh well, that freed up the oven for everything else. Everyone is napping now & then we'll head over to son's house to continue the party with DIL's family. (I'm too old for this - but love being with the kids so what the heck! I'll rest next week.)
Hope everyone is warm & dry.
Stay safe,
Catherine

Almost the end of Thanksgiving Day here in soggy California. Chris and I fixed a ham and several side dishes. Started with butter lettuce salad then shrimp cocktail. Watched A Wrinkle in Time on Hulu and off to bed tired and grateful for a good day.
