Good morning
Assume everyone is sleeping in this morning. I was up before sunrise - unusual for me.
A lot on my to do list for today. Its 10:00 here and I haven't started yet. That is not a good sign so best get moving.

Good Morning Sarah and all who are here in spirit. Is it nap time yet!? I had to get up at 4:45 AM to get DH and Emma out the door by 5:30. Emma is going to Evansville, IN to a "show and go' practice event and needed to be at the trainers house by six. It is 10:30 now and i feel like I've been up all night. Guess it was good practice for turning back the clocks tonight. Show and Go is something they do before the real obedience trial which will be next weekend. I will be so happy when and if she gets her Novice Obedience work finished and I just hope DH doesn't decide to have her go on to whatever step is next!!!$$$$
It is cold today but supposed to warm up and then get into the twenties by next weekend. I guess my days of procrastinating dumping my black tank are numbered!! I will have to get it done and RV to storage before the temp drops to those numbers!!
Mitzi's' eyes have healed pretty well since the unfortunate trip to the groomer. I finally did get a call from her on Thursday after two attempts to call her. She said she has no idea what could have happened....I'm not looking forward to finding another groomer so will do the little ones myself and hopefully find someone to do Emma.
I'm not ready for winter weather!
Enjoy the day.

Good morning :-D
I was up way early as well, not unusual for me but I'm a bit excited about getting out to the desert for a few days and have lots to do over the weekend. I hope to leave Wednesday afternoon. The service tech comes Monday to fix the furnace, the sail switch I put in was not the culprit, then perhaps the thermocouple that I can not access without taking the furnace out. Definitely no muscle for that chore.
I have a few goals to accomplish for the motorhome in terms of turn the key and go. I put in some shelves and have baskets so stuff stays where I need it and I won't have to stash stuff each time I move the motorhome. With the exception of the coffee pot, its on that list right along with put antenna down, coffee pot goes in sink wrapped in a towel. Everything else will remain where its put. Found a shelf at Home Depot that will fit perfectly over the bedroom window where I can store my small light weight tubs that are currently riding on the floor behind the bed. So, free up the floor space behind the bed for the kayak.
Well I've rambled on enough, time to get dressed and get busy. Y'all have a great day, be safe and I wish everyone well.

I was up early this morning too to get ready for the carport sale. It is almost over but we sold a lot of stuff so that is good! I walked around the neighborhood to check out the other sales and bought a few things. Also got the third piece of turf down along the driveway. Just have to cut a little off one side and pin it down. Then buy the fence posts to lay along the lot line on the other side of the turf. Will post before and after photos when it is done. It is hard to explain.

Was very chilly out this morning but is getting really warm now with the sun shining. Got up to almost 90 degrees yesterday and in the 40's last night.

Will go to the monthly community dinner at 4, and then to the Psychic/medium show at 7 tonight. Busy day ahead yet!

Saw a Chalet in Santa Ana on Craigs List so may drive up to look at that on Monday.

Ava, I didn't know you have a kayak! When did you get that? You know there is no water in the desert to use that, don't you? (well, unless you go to the Colorado River).

Have a good day!

I wasn't up all that early and I had to hurry because I wanted to bring that broken tray to the UPS pickup in town. They close at 1:00 on Saturday. This weekend is the Giant Omelet Festival in town. I didn't feel like stopping when I was in town and thought about going back. They have craft booths set up in the square but I seldom ever buy anything unless it's something to eat. Maybe I'll make it in the morning. I have only been once when they were handing out the egg and it's nothing to get excited about. That will be around noon tomorrow.

I hauled a smaller wire cage I have into the house for Sweetie Pie. It's only 23" by 36" so the litter box takes up half the cage. She seems content in it since she can see what's going on. That will keep her from jumping up on the counter in the bathroom. I have to decide by Wednesday if I am bringing her with me or see if the vet will keep her until Monday.

Hank looks like he is getting around much better. I'll take him for a walk later and see if he is still stumbling. I found a sore at the top of his front leg that the vet didn't find. Is there any over the counter medicine I could put on it?

It got down to 53 last night and I finally had to get up and turn the heat on. But it's back up to 80 now. There's an 80% chance of rain tomorrow. The yard is still soggy from the last rain.

Got 9 hours of sleep last night, so nice to catch up. And at 2:00 pm, just finished my breakfast. Got at least three loads of laundry to do, but everything is sorted and ready to go, so will head over to laundromat soon and get it done. Bought a new zippered sweatshirt yesterday at the mall, so am having to drop in one of those color-catcher sheets so it will not run on other darker clothes, as it is a dark purple. If you have never used those sheets, they are real life-savers when you have to wash mixed colors. Just got clued in about then a few months ago.

Lots of work to catch up on, so going to be busy all day, but since it is gloomy and cold, who cares!
