A visitor from Arizona

My friend Diane from Arizona got here yesterday afternoon. We had dinner and sat outside and had some wine. I presented her with her official Flamingo wineglass.

Today we went into Silver City and went thru lots of art galleries. Had a great lunch, stopped at the Bad Ass Bakery and the Big Ditch Park. I bought a postcard.

We're back at the RV and gonna hit the pool for a swim.

Sounds like a great day. And Diane, you've been flamingoed by Karen. She gets us all first opportunity she has. :)

Karen, have to say you're in a more likely place for visitors than last year. Glad to "see" your friend, especially holding her visitor pass. Still not sure of our route and have not gotten our deleted sites fixed yet. carold

Soos, you have to come visit me to get your official Flamingo wineglass. I'm in New Mexico till Sept then back to Texas. Or, maybe I'll get you if I go backeast sometime.

Karen, is it you or those flamingo glasses that make you so popular  We're heading into Austin for a few days and then moving on, possibly thru San Antonio. DH is thinking of heading to Las Cruces again, so as you can see, we didn't go to Port Arthur and that area. I thought he might turn right instead of left. carold

Yes, Karen, come east!!! And bring the wine glasses! Come see the leaves change in the fall...you can head a little north after the GTG and see the colors of New England!

Yes, do come east. After in GTG in Ferryboat you can head north for the foliage and see the Mark Twain House in Hartford.
