Good Morning, QUESTION OF THE DAY! Where is Liz? Haven’t heard from her since Michael.
Nothing Much going on around here. Awaiting the big Halloween celebration across the street this weekend.

Good morning
Looks like I'm in for 4 rainy days. Will work on more items to go to antique mall - a good rainy day task.
Lyn - Liz is fine. Saw a post on FB recently saying she returned home and that the only damage they had from hurricane was some tree limbs down. She has started another butterfly garden.

I think the rain has passed me and is headed East. We got about an inch and a half over night. It is back up to 80. Where's that cold front?

I went out and aired up the tires in the truck and old motorhome while I was at it. I am going to have to put some damp rid in the truck. It's mildewing. If I can find my Clorox wipes I'm going to wipe every thing down. I have been to town every day but can't think of anything to go to town for today. I might have to clean house.

I finally quit buying Halloween candy since we never have any trick or treaters. My camping group trick or treated at the last campout but I gave all but a few pieces of candy to my sister. There were a couple of ladies that must have thought we didn't need candy. One gave out bananas and the other gave out carrot sticks. I enjoyed those treats because there isn't much candy I eat.

I stopped at Lowe's yesterday and they had some of the small pots of Mums on sale for 50 cents. They looked as good as the ones that weren't on sale so I bought 6 and put them all together in a container. Not as pretty as their $20 baskets but none of them will survive with me anyway. lol

Good morning gals! :D

Cool sunny day with birds happily chirping.

The pine tree is coming down on Saturday. Kind of bittersweet. Such a beautiful big tree and adds nice shade in the afternoons, but the safety of me, my cats and my house come first.

Hope those of you out east and south finally cool off and dry off some!

Enjoy your day! :D

Hello Lyn, Sarah, Martha & Barbie!

Lyn, yes, it's Thursday & usually I go to church on Thursday's to practice for the next service but somehow, I lost a day. I'll go tomorrow. Sarah, you've been doing lots of work in the garage for your store. You tucker me out seeing what you've done. Martha, are you going to sell your older motorhome? Barbie, I'm glad the tree will be coming down soon.

We drove around this morning and went to the vineyard to get a case of the Cha Cha Chocolate wine I like. From there we went to Panasofkee Lake to check out a place that offers air boat rides and several restaurants we haven't been to yet. We're going to try out a new cafe for lunch, after I practice for Sunday's service. We have friends coming into the campground Saturday and we will prepare dinner for them so they don't have to worry it.

I was up early this morning, needed to get busy staining my fence. Had to beat the rain and none really predicted before Sunday, a chance of rain. We need it but not when I am trying to stain my fence. I was finished by 10am. Second coat tomorrow. Went out to lunch at 5 Guys Burgers with a neighbor. New in town next to Cracker Barrel but it was super busy. Good burger in a bowl (no bun). Did sneak a couple of fries LOL

Emma and I went for an afternoon walk as the sun was out and I was super full. The walk felt good so guess it did me some good.

Irmi, yes I'm going to sell my old motorhome. There are a few things I need to get taken care of.

My son liked 5 Guys Burgers. Do they serve a burger in a bowl or do you just eat one without the bun? The times we have gone there was just too many french fries. I think you get a whole big bag of them. I don't eat a burger often but usually just eat half the bun. I use to like Burger King but the last burger I got there wasn't good so I haven't been back. My son and his girlfriend want to come eat at one of the seafood restaurants on Saturday. I told them that if they don't come early we will have to stand in line. Knowing those 2, I will probably need to bring a chair.

Cheryl and I did more sightseeing today. We started out at the Prehistoric Trackways National Monument. Then we stopped at a rest area /scenic view to see the Recycled Roadrunner. Finally we went to Fort Selden. Mid afternoon brought me home where I heated my leftovers from the awesome historic restaurant we had lunch yesterday.

My daughter gets to craving the fries at 5 guys the Cajon ones at that!!! agree they are so good
for not doing much of anything but either driving or sitting or doing family history or visiting I am sure tired
my son and daughter in law come home Saturday night then Sunday my youngest daughter will take me up North she thinks we are meeting in Pocatello but my son in law texted me and asked if she can take me to the next town North to the farm and my truck should be there I am sure that will work for her it's only a half an hour further ,,,
then I need to start stowing away stuff for the treck south it was cooler today and am looking forward to warmth again...tomorrow though have some stuff to do having an activity at church for the kids on Sat night suppose to bring pies so making a peanut butter one since one rarely gets to taste their own making two one for the house and one for church...and something needs to be down with the banana's if just smashed and tossed in freezer...son broadly hinted about caramel popcorn so got the stuff for that and then we really need to clean house..
that has to be sad to know the tree is being taken down but it sounds like its time and safety is paramount

We have a 5 Guys across the street from the shop so I eat there occasionally but I just order the small cheeseburger and munch on peanuts until my order is ready. I love Smashburger but many of them around here closed down recently. I like the chicken sandwiches at Burger King and I see they have chicken tenders now so will have to try those, maybe tomorrow since there is one close to work. I love chicken! :D

Tonight, we sat for two hours with no haircuts and then, 10 minutes before closing, 5 people came in the door, 3 were from one family! So, even with one guy deciding to come back tomorrow (thank you!), we still worked for another half hour or more.

Time for bed, Gotta open the shop in the morning.
