 Mornin' ladies~~~
Grey and drizzly today near Las Cruces NM. running errands with Beth. Windshield repaired already. You can still see it, but at least it should keep it from spreading. We are now at Walmart picking up a few things. One more stop and then back to the CG.

Have a good day ladies and stay safe wherever you are.

We’re awake here ( I think) had a bad scare in going to bed last night. Mr P waits for me to put him on the bed and then he runs around and wants to play, last night he started crying and looked like one back leg was out of joint or something . Scared us both he tried to get to me and not knowing what to do I was feeling his leg and found a nylon thread from the comforter was twisted and he was caught good in it.. got it undone and he wanted on the floor, I took the comforter off the bed, but he wanted no part of the bed. We had to sleep so I picked him up and he was so tight to me all night, when I turned over onto my back this morning almost went off the bed :o

I had planned errands today but changed my mind woke so early then time to leave didn’t feel like going anywhere, one great thing about being retired and no real schedule. It’s ended up being a fairly lazy day, kind of overcast and looking like reading a book afternoon.

Nice to read about the travelers and Velda good to read your post, just do what you feel like and I totally understand going into a new group, where you know no one. Sarah, loved seeing your blue ink and seeing you had posted here , seems to me you sure have some busy days there. Would love to be there and go to festival at antique shop with you. Tina, I hope your behavior class works for all of you. Barbie, hope your tree gets down before any high winds come along.

Weather is bearable last couple of days, a/c still comes on late afternoon. Sure is nicer for Mr P’s. Outings during the day. We’ve set out on front porch and that is nice to be able to do.

Travelers stay safe, everyone else just enjoy your day!

Good Morning, Sun is finally peaking out of the o'cast. I don't want to go to the pool until the sun reaches it! A little cool in the early morning here.
Barbie, you are coming out to Q aren't you? Maybe look for a trailer out there?
They have put fiber optic cable in our tall (32 stories) building. Now we have to learn the new system, understand it, and decide if we want to switch. All this is so confusing to me!. Of course the salesmen will have nothing but good things to say about it! This is when I miss my SIL the most, as he understood all of the ramifications.

Good Morning, barely. Been outside supervising LOL the final fence finishing. Sure is nice to have the fence up but I still need to stain it. Today is NOT the day. Cloudy, breeze picking up and a chance of rain so will wait for a better day.

Vacuumed the house then will let my Roomba do it for the next few days. Load of laundry in now, have spaghetti for lunch just have to reheat it. Always better the second day.

Carol I too have to share my bed with a dog that likes to be plastered right up next to me. I end up with 1/4 of the bed near the edge. Sometimes I move her over and claim a bit more but eventually I am back where I started LOL
So glad you were able to fix Mr P easily. Poor little thing. Good on you Carol.

Hi Ladies!

Cheryl, so glad you are able to spend some time with Beth. Isn't she the coolest, or what? Carol, we drove through Webster today on our way to Lakeland for another appointment. Come and see us for an afternoon! Lyn, I am computer & TV illiterate, so I understand your frustration. Karen, I remember the days of Teddy pushing me out of the bed. Wish he was still with us. Beth, the musician that plays for the church in Ocala only plays the soprano and also, no left hand or pedals. So she was glad I returned. The musician in MD does play with two hands but no pedals. Organists are hard to come by. I'm glad now my parents suggested organ instead of piano lessons.

I had a visit with my dentist in Lakeland today, almost 2 hours from Ocala and got a clean bill of health and will go back in 6 months. Those folks were a God send and I have all but reclaimed my confidence back. They are among the top 5 in the country doing what they do, which is why I went there.

Our friends are on their way south, so we will have them back in several days, beside us, across the street and behind us. It will be so good to have them back!

Irmi, I love that you found this place and have friends all around you. That is so awesome. And finding the right dentist has been wonderful for you.

Cheryl and I have both been hanging around New Mexico... So close and yet so far. There are a few parks near Las Cruces so it was really cool that when she mentioned het next park in this area and I asked where... It's where I had just arrived. In fact, I was on the site she had reserved for the next night.

Room in bed? Ha! Ty changes where he wants to be nightly... Sometimes he squeezes under the covers between me and the wall and moves me over. Other times he's on the other side and pushing me into the wall. It's funny. And when I get up to go potty during the night he almost always has moved right into the spot I left.

I made an appt at the place Cheryl got her chip in her window fixed today for tomorrow. My chip came last winter and hopefully they can keep it from getting bigger. We took hers in on a rainy day and it looks like I'll have the same tomorrow. I'm hoping it's not bad here in the morning because they do a ranger led hike tomorrow morning I'd like to go on. And leashed dogs are allowed. I made my window repair for afternoon in hopes...

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.

Talked to the park manager again this morning. He said he has put in several calls but no word back from them, so is going to call another company to remove the tree. I think the ones who took the limb down don't have the right equipment to take the big one down.

My handyman showed up this morning and put in my new thermostat. My old one was original to the house so I really needed a new digital one. Maybe it will be more efficient since I can set it for an exact temp.

He also put down the pavers along the driveway for me since I have been having a lot of issues with my wrist the past week or so. It looks really nice now. Just need to lay down the last piece of turf and then pick up the fence rails to use for a border on the other side of the grass on the lot line. That won't take long. May do that later today when it gets shady on that side.

The cat food I was buying for Lola is for furball control. It totally stopped her furball issue but was very expensive. So I switched to a cheaper brand of furball control and now she is coughing up furballs again. Guess I have to go back to the more expensive stuff. I will check on-line and see if I can find it cheaper somewhere. It is the Blue Wilderness brand.

Need to start on more projects now, since it is way too late to head up to Julian today. Will have to do that next week. It is a gorgeous day, sunny and breezy and a perfect temperature!

Tina, still trying to find an adventure. I have been trying a lot of new recipes so maybe that is my adventure. Tonight was Jambalaya. I need to cook it a little longer so the rice isn’t crunchy and a little less Cajun Seasoning. Need a bowl of ice cream now and I mean RIGHT NOW.

Shirlv, for me trying to cook something definitely would be an adventure to new lands! Someday I still have a fantasy of cooking. Someday. But it is far down on the bucket list and my reputation proceeds me in the family so There is no pressure to try and impress any one. I eat fairly simple and at this age of life I really do t need many calories. Among other items, fresh fruit just isn’t that hard to prepare, And I really have trouble with portion control, so fixing fancy, tasty things and puttin* some aside requires. Some. Control.

Josef and Audrey sleep in their crates at night without complaint and Lark sleeps in my bedroom. She may jump up on the bed and ask for a few minutes of snuggles but has always leaped off soon as I settle down seriously and she curls up right next to the bed for the night. Given I don’t sleep all that soundly and sometimes toss and turn, Shas made a good choice of habit.

Thanks Beth. I was trying to remember the name of that website. I checked and they are only a buck cheaper than PetCo and PetSmart. I will get the larger bag so that will save me some money over the smaller bags I usually buy.

It has been raining here all day and won't clear up until maybe Friday. Just what we need, more rain. I got the mower to start today but a lot of good it did. I couldn't mow. I went to PetSmart looking for a replacement tray for a big wire kennel I have. I get to go back because the tray I got is too big. Looks like I will have to order one.

Barbie, I feed my house cats Iams for Weight and Hairball Control. I don't see them throwing up too much. I bought a bag of Blue Wilderness to use as treats. They think anything different is a treat. Blue Wilderness is proud of their stuff.

I made reservations for a campout with one of my groups for August 2019. I don't know what I'm doing tomorrow, much less next year.

I was going to mention Chewy's when I saw Beth's post...my sister orders from them but when I looked for what I get for Shadow it was as I recall more than I pay for it

they can be so funny to watch (our fur kids that is) I wish I could understand them  I am a creature of habit I will crochet then read a bit then go to bed and read in another book for a chapter or two. Turn out the light then a few minutes later Shadow will woof so I will turn the light back on tell him to come up and he looks up the stairs at me so I get out of bed turn on the over head light and try to coax him up he will back away I will do downstairs and he will back backwards sometimes even to the carolers sometimes then he will start toward the stairs and then veer into the kennel when that happens I usually give it up tell him that he is on his own he knows where the bed is and go to bed only to repeat said ritual some times that is sometimes he just stays in the living room sometimes he comes up on his own and sometimes he woofs loudly enough and long enough we repeat it's a game I think or something sometimes he acts totally scared to go up other times I actually wonder if he is seeing well...and sometimes it just is totally irritating. and because I go to bed late some times well we will be honest a lot of time this happens at 3 am so not eager to play .... when he comes up he gets on the bed and sometimes it is right up next to me other its somewhere on the bed when he is up next to me it's like moving an anvil who knew 20 lbs was that heavy
am in Utah taking care of two of the granddaughters while s and his wife are on a cruise today they called from Nova Scotia and we are making hot fudge count down gd is counting with the timer
next week will be getting ready to leave for Arizona
